Hello,

I'd like to make a suggestion, ORIENTAL!!

Granted this does sound dangerous at this point in time for Alex and Heather BUT with the over abundance of beef and chicken that seems to pour out of every restaurant, I enjoy the wierd seafood that various sushi and authentic oriantal restaurants make.

Granted sushi shouldn't be all that hard, very little cooking for most dishes (mmmmm.....eel). But what are the proper methods to make these dishes.

I thought you wanted Alex to make a date with Chi-Lan Leiu....

But,

sushi isn't hard in principal. There are a few ingredients, mostly fresh. Making the seasoned rice properly takes some skill. After the chicken-cordon-bleu, raw fish should be quite natural. However, the is a bit of "A moment to learn and a lifetime to master" about sushi making. Having dabbled a little bit, I can tell you that it does take a little bit of focus. Mostly you need the proper equipment and technique.

I was engaged to a chef, and for a while he specialized in sushi. Getting that damned rice right is the trick, and rolling it so that it stays together is something else. Just because next to no cooking is involved does not mean it will be a lot easier.

Stir-fry can be a lot of fun, everything done so quickly.
