Mobile phone games

Anybody play with these? I agree that most are stupid, but train trips to visit dad are half hour long and it's not worth spending that much money on a PSP so I downloaded Ridge Racer and Lumines for my phone. They are so cool. I can't believe how close Ridge Racer is to the PS1 version and you get used to the awkward key layout quite quickly. Especially considering how quickly these things have moved forward from snakes.

Anybody else geek out on phone games?

Metal Slug is also pretty cool, but King Of fighters is kinda rubbish, but fighting games are never going to work on that button lay out. Haven't played street fighter.

My biggest time waster on my phone is Brick Breaker Deluxe.

I play two games on my phone.

ASPHALT - Racing Game
DragonFire2 - 1942 but with a dragon.

They keep me busy.

I play street hockey using my phone as a puck, that way I don't have to take any annoying calls.

Friend has an N-gage and Asphalt is heaps fun on that, but unfortunately the Java Asphalt is bollocks :P

Back in the day I was all about tetris colums, and puzzle bobble, but these games got real boring on the phone for me, I'm really digging Lumines though.

Anybody played it on both phone and PSP. Is it really that different? Or just the obvious sound and graphics being weaker on the phone.

I also seen timecrisis on the net, but vodafone don't have it here in Australia. How would a gun game work on a phone?

my sony ericson phone came with a game called JC does texas. You shoot out of a cannon and try to hit as many things as you can before hitting the ground. It's pretty good. other than that, I play some poker and yahtzee.
