Forums Problem | Remember Me Doesn't Work

Why in gods name do I have to always log in here. Why have a remember me button if it doesn't work. Its not a super big deal but its a tad annoying.

Come on, REV3 is working on it. It's only been a year or so... give them time.

I get that issue on Digg more than Rev3 but that's only at work. No issues at home with either site.

If you are going to bi7ch and moan, at least back it up with details that someone might be able to use to help you out.

Cleared your cache recently? Do you have cookies enabled? Has it ever worked for you? How about from a different computer?

FWIW - I need to re-log in occassionally... but generally only after upgrading my browser. I am using Opera 9.5 Beta build 9681 on Windows XP SP2 (fully patched).

Chuckles doesn't have the problem (http://www.revision3.com/forum/showpost.php?p=136412&postcount=29), therefore it doesn't matter that anyone else has the problem and this thread (much like the others) will eventually reach the 2nd page and drift away until next month rolls around.

...but is the complaint that browsing to another site logs the person out or closing the browser logs the person out? Chuckles response seems to regard only the first.

For me, I can log in. Stay on the forum. Hit refresh about an hour later and I'm logged out instantly. It has always happened on my PC - IE7 and Fire**** 2.x

I recently did a brand new install on my OS and it still does it. It also does it on my work PC - IE7 and Fire**** 2.x as well.

I have had this problem on multiple PC's with multiple versions of Firefox. Of late I've been using Firefox portable (2.0.0.9). I use quite a few forums online many running this same software, and do not have this problem there. I've noticed this since I first started using the Rev3 boards with my old nick (jimithing). Oddly enough I didn't have to log in this morning, it remembered me for some reason. I know I'm not the only one with this problem. Its not a super big deal, but I didn't know how recently it had been brought to anyones attention.
