hey guys,
I love PixelPerfect and think that Bert Monroy is genious.
One question i have is what camera set-up do you use to film it, because the quality is AMAZING. I think it really brings the whole "feel" of design that much more, with a nice quality video like that.
thanks

I think its done at the same place as Macbreak. They talked about their setup at one episode, I forgot which.

We'll, I'm not sure about PixelPerfect, but I know that MacBreak shoots with Sony Cinealta F950's.
The PixelCorps shoots MacBreak, so if they shoot PixelPerfect as well, I would assume they use the same cameras.

Are you sure? That's a $100,000+ camera.
Yep, PixelCorps has got a lot of cool and expensive equipment.

Well, if you want to shoot any video in HD quality you are looking at 100,000 to 250,000 per camera. For instance when you go to the Tonight Show with Jay Leno they tell you each camera in there cost over 250,000 dollars. And they have over 10 of them.

For television shows, of course. But for podcasts? Nobody buys a $100,000 camera just do do a podcast. After reading more about the PP ssetup (and the people who actually do it), it seems as though they do much more than just podcasting, so it makes more sense now.

Why wouldn't you spend it on podcasting? Do you really think that revision 3 and digg.com don't make alot of money? Seeing as more people are watching tv on the computer now, it's just as common.

They actually have 2 Cinealta F950s. One from the San Fransisco School of Digital Film Making. The other is from some other guy. I'm pretty sure they covered it in The road to 1080p part 1.
