Hi all I just wanted to pass on an idea I had for Revision3 and its merchandise. All the shows have t-shirts and I'm sure the company would like to expand into other clothing and other items like posters, tech gear like mousepads, or what have you. As a dedicated dude of Lebowskifest I just wanted to pass along the man who designs a large amount of their merchandise, === LINK REDACTED ===. The response to the items he designs has been huge for Lebowskifest both financially and from an advertising standpoint. A partnership with Bill could be a great way to add merchandise to the core business and advertising models of Revision3.

Bonus points for targeting, but it's still spam.

Spam is still spam ... I suspect the heart was in the right place, but the method wasn't appropriate.

Ninski - try sending a PM to "jlouderb" (Jim - he likes being called Jimbo - is CEO of Rev3).

As long as we're talking merchandise....
I wish they'd sell Revision3 stickers. I'd totally put one on my car. You know -- help get the name out.

I am in debt to Rev3 for bringing me the most important person in my life.

Sorry about the link, didn't know that was a no-no and feel free to edit out the other specifics as well (for some reason I can't). But the reason I posted is I see the Revision3 community is growing much the same way another one of my favorite communities started growing online back in 2002 and 2003. Here on the college campus where I work I never once asked someone to check out the website, but had tons of people ask me about the site because of a creative shirt or poster they saw of mine. In this case it was a movie people really enjoyed, but it could apply to Revision3 as well. A TRS poster or shirt spoofing a movie for example, would be a great way to generate word of mouth interest from anyone who sees it and liked the movie. Just wanted to spur a little discussion about how merchandise could help build the community a little bit and maybe find out if people have more interest in it. Sorry for the spam.
