OK i'm working on another, yes another computer mod and so i came to here to ask you fellow computer people if its possable.

What i'm trying to do is take a Laptop Monitor and connect it to my case. But by being connected i mean it shows everything that my regular monitor shows. I dont know if this is possable but if so can any one tell me how i could do it?

If that was un clear ill try to explain it down here...

Ok i wanna install a Laptop Monitor into my Computer case. BUT i want everything i do on my regular monitor to also go on the laptop monitor. I'm working on this for a school project and i think it would be awsome for my WoW case.

Any thing might help, so if you think you know how i can do it please post. Thanks guys!

Laptop monitors do not use standard video inputs, so this is not going to be an easy task. I have seen it doen before, but the cost of the hardware required to drive the monitor from a standard desktop video card was outrageous.

You would almost be better off buyin g a small (15") LCD monitor, and mounting that in your case.

Then you need a video card with multiple outputs - not that uncommon, and run one cable to your desktop, the other to your inbuilt monitor (look for DVI outputs on the video card). The ability to have the same thing shwoing on each screen is a function of the video card drivers - even cooler - you could have one thing showing on one monitor, and other stuff on your main screen.

It is NOT the same resolution as a good LCD display for a PC, but if your video card can do video (as in TV) out, then that might be a cheap option to take.

yeah...what he said...also, if the display is from a laptop, you'll have to solder the regular VGA on...also, when you "tested" it (i guess) it was probably in morrored mode, try seeing if there's a setting to change it to stretch mode
