So I don't know if any of you watch American Choppers but Vinnie and Cody left the show and setup their own shop called vforcecustoms (http://www.vforcecustoms.com). Now no matter what you think of the show Vinnie and Cody were pretty talented at making bikes. I was thinking that a kind of dyi show teaching people how to build bikes could be cool.
I posted this over in their forum first (http://www.vforcecustoms.com/index.php?option=com_fireboard&func=view&id=1255&catid=14#1255). But I thought revision3 might be interested in pursuing this with them as I think it would be a good branch out into other kind of shows. Vinnie and Cody seem fairly easy to contact as they post in the sites forum and actually respond to email albeit it can be slow. I know any show ideas are kind of a long shot but i'll still dream of having a dyi show about motorcycles.

Yes I also watch it, and I also sent an email off to Vinnie about the following; Vinnie and Cody took 50% of the talent away from OCC when they left. But they're now positioned to outdo OCC if they choose! Thank goodness for Tivo, I still watch American Chopper but fast forward through the advertisements and the "family play times". This brings the shows down to between 20 and 25 minutes of good informative entertainment, with the "low-IQ silliness" removed.
I recommended that Vinnie and Cody shouldn't try to compete with OCC building choppers, that would be like trying to play ball with someone else's ball. Instead they should leverage their experiences at OCC, build choppers, but do it in a real chopper show. They could offer "how-to" segments like the "Muscle Car" show does and could discuss concepts and technical advances like "Two Guys Garage", they could also do a viewers questions section like "Car Crazy", but most of all just being real people with down-to-earth talent would make my day, and probably my favorite show.

I LOVE THIS IDEA. This is rev3's chance to branch out beyond geek programming. I think that a lot of geeks that enjoy the current programming would enjoy a more mechanical (in stead of electrical) oriented program.
as Tay Zonday (chocolate rain) says "This is the web and its gonna murder your tv." This is rev3's chance to break out and do just that.

WOW! This would be a great addition to the line up. It doesn't fall too far from the tree either. It is along the lines of the Make world.
I don't have cable anymore (I have my hands full with the entertainment that shows like Rev3 produces, etc.), so I don't watch American Chopper anymore. I always enjoyed the real working parts of the show (fabrication, assembly, and artwork). It would be wonderful to see a show that brought these things together in an internet delivered platform.
I concur about the amazing talent that Vinnie and Cody bring to the table, but if you cannot work with them, please pursue similar as you can.

Would be a very intresting thing for sure, not too sure if i would realy watch it but i still would like Rev3 to branch out side of the box an try to bring others to the web tv world.

+1 from me!
I love american chopper but I always wish they did more hardcore chopper building. If you could create a show that showed off how to build choppers from the ground up, and how to make your own from an existing motorocycle that would rock! You could probably branch it out a bit so that it covers anything on 2 wheels to include traditional motorcycles, dirtbikes and scooters. I guarantee if you make a show that has guys fabricating sick custom scooters it will be the only one.

I'd definitely watch a show with Vinnie and Cody. It sucked to see Vinnie go. I like watching the show, but I don't like all the fighting and other BS. Sometimes their antics can be interesting to watch (like Mikey and Paulie making the potato cannon on the last ep) but overall they just annoy me. I can't stand the fighting anymore, it's so old. I just want to watch them make bikes. (I thought the Viega bike was pretty nice looking minus the plumbing parts and stuff)
But yeah, a show with those guys would be totally watchable!

They are in the New York area and from what I've seen all Rev3 shows are SanFran based primarily. So I don't think that's gonna happen.

Well, not all of their shows are produced in house. two of their biggest and best shows (Diggnation and Totally Rad Show) are not filmed in house and could definitely be filmed anywhere. Same with The VForceCustoms show, it would just need a camera or two and someone to edit it together and then upload it to rev3 (that's how DN and TRS work; well I'm not totally sure where DN is edited, but I know that Steve edits TRS)

Man, I'd pay money to download a weekly show from VforceCustoms.
