I see from your MySpace blog that you are depression-boy this week. I prescribe lots and lots of CHOCOLATE and tea. Preferrably dark chocolate, that is bitter-sweet like your life.

Also, blast some of that music that had you practically dancing around in your undies like "Risky Business" and take Hank and Cheese out to the park to play.

It will get better my friend.... it has to, or El Phantasmo Blanco may have to come up from his Mexican villa and kick your ass. :p

When the person who is the livest and most fun is in a funk, that just makes me more sad. I have enough angst to cover everyone's blues.

But it happens. Let's see like Diela said chocolate, or comfort foods. I usually do something fun that I haven't done in awhile to switch channels. Weirdly listening to music that is too cheery brings me down (how dare you be so happy), but some good middle-of-the-road pop helps. Excercing, "back to comics" sessions and occasionally an Ambien or Xanax.....

C'mon over to IRC there's enough absurd chatter to take your mind off of things.

*Big hugs*

Ahh - drown yourself in some Chicharron Pupusas and some fried yucca with salsa. Make sure to use plenty of that cabbage stuff on the pupusas. Have a horchata while your at it!

Happiness lies in Slavadoran restaurants (for those that have never been to a Salvadoran restaurant, one other thing to know is thaat 90% of them are ALWAYS decorated for Christmas, no matter what time of year it is!).

Dude, I'm telling you, now is the perfect time to take up drinking. Come on. It will make you feel better.

Would a friend lie to you? Do it.

I'd be dead by now if I took up drinking.

I wish I had Artie Lang with me so he could go "WHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!" in my face.

Speaking of which, Sirius radio is free today over the internet. It's free tomorrow too.

JLO i will dance with you again if it helps. You are a good dancer. I just didn't have enough to drink in the vip room to get on stage with you but at the picnic I will.

i'd prob just bring a boombox with RCA jacks so people can take turns playing whatever they have on their respective audio devices.

i say if cuz i’m still debating if i really want to meet these people (or really want them to meet me). my homeboy/co-worker/right hand man (LosOjosDelWhatever) says he’s dragging me down either way so i might not have a choice.

and some fried yucca

i so miss fried yucca. there was a great tex-mex place in Virginia that had it, but since i moved to Tucson i can't get good yucca. both the Columbian restaurant and the Peruvian restaurant cut it real thick and it doesn't get fluffy enough. i like my yucca to taste like sweet french fries.

i am also down for some alfajores! i learned how to make them myself because i can't get good ones here.

NOTE: i live in TUCSON... great Mexican, but the South American food here sucks compared to what i am used to.

Are you thinking of Atlacatl on Columbia Pike? I go there almost once a week.

dude... you HAVE to go... everyone here is pretty damn cool. Hell, even Seamus would be kinda cool to actually meet. I'll bet he's a lot more positive in person. I went to a Fark.com party that Drew Curtis actually showed up to and it was amazing. One of the best parties I've ever been to. If I lived in a place that wasn't so hard to get there from I'd be all over it.... GO... go now.... camnp out and get a good spot... what are you waiting for? Get the fack out of here!!!

"I wish I had Artie Lang with me so he could go "WHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!" in my face."

He's let himself go lately (more so than usual). I saw him on Conan the other night, and he's put on more weight, and his voice is hoarse and gross sounding now.

He's still a pimp though. There's been an Artie shaped hole in my heart since Howard moved to Sirius. The hole is large and smells of Jack and water.
