In an effort to not cause controversy over something incredibly stupid, like last week, I will be listening to the entire episode. Even though I could absolutley care less about New X-Men. This is how much I care.

I loved that my question got like four minutes of answer. Thanks!

"a lot of times we sit around talking about early 20th century warfare and its conseqences, and this doesn't get onto the show a lot"

Hahahaha Tad. I also enjoyed Conor's substantial "uhhhh" as he tried to think how to describe us and eventually came up with "rambunctious".

I don't know if suggesting people to come to us is the best idea Tad ;)

Oh, you guys are OK, always fun, friendly. And never underestimate who may be lurking about, who might call somebody out on Green Lantern and WWI 101... If Six and my friends were to meet in person, it would soon come to blows, but here we are, extremely civil compared to other places. Sure, there has been an occasional tussle, but we wouldn't want to start thinking we had to tow the One Party Line or anything -healthy for the system.
Funny podcast. Really extremely funny. Wonderful treat for the holidays for those of us marooned overseas.
Happy Holidays everyone! Be Safe, be good, and I hope you enjoy Your comics, whatever titles those may be! (and i am guessing all the action will be in those trades people have been saving up to read, which is where I am at) :D

I listened this morning, and out of an extremely funny podcast, I think that Uh made me laugh the hardest.
Nice job, gents.

Oh, that is a great find! I liked the video "Idiot Driving in Snow" on that site because I'm (re) reading one of my favorite novels, and tonight it described a NKVD (KGB) guy driving JUST like that:
"'Mitya,' he said, 'you drive like a peasant'"
'I am a peasant,' the driver answered."
Wally highly recommends - this book. Imagine a guy like the very empathetic Kavalier from Kavalier and Klay, trapped but escaping the true horror of Stalin's Russia, accurately depicted, it's a "true espiaonage" novel, 1934-1945 in Europe. Alan Furst, Night Soldiers, his best I think. Not a comic, but very much in keeping with the "espionage" theme (with a European twist) of this week's podcast.
I am just now getting ahold of Checkmate issues #8 (?) to almost current. Holiday reading! Yay! And USM, the latest story arc, I have also been saving for this "very special time of the year."
