So i bought oblivion about 4 months ago after hearing how amazing it is. After 10 or so hours of play i started to wonder when this game becomes fun. Eventually i got bored of running around doing tiny side quests and deleted the game.

I really couldn't figure out what everyone saw in this game.

I cant remember what episode, but Jeff mentioned something about mods. I did a little research, and it seems Oblivion really shines only when a ton of user created mods are installed.

Wondering if there are any Oblivion mod experienced people out there in the Rad community that could suggest/point me in the right direction.

My aim is Canadian8703 or you can reply here!

Thanks for the help!

Yeah I agree. I bought it for the 360 a couple months ago & maybe I was expecting too much. The graphics are amazing but I've found the game to be pretty boring. I put it aside for other games like Orange Box and Mass Effect & plan to pick it up again & either continue where I left off or start over again with a new character. Maybe I just picked the wrong class to play or something.

Oblivion is an awesome game the thing is you have to know what class you like to play as, I first started out as a "Ranger" type character but it turns out in video games I don't like to stand in the back and use a bow and arrow I like to get up close and use a sword, so its somewhat trail and error. As for mods the best I've seen for a PC is the Lord of the rings mod http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=OblivionMods.Detail&id=1233
also there is a mod out there that gives you a weapon that has the look and "feel" of Anduril http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=oblivionmods.detail&id=1220
either way its a great game I've played through all the expansions of the game and still I'm not done, I still need to do the thieves guild and the fighters guild so there's plenty to do you just have to find the best way of doing it that makes it fun.

The OOO mod is pretty good I guess, but I want to know if it will work with the expansions of Oblivion.
