Anyone headed to CES '08?

I've been trying to decide if I want to go to CES this year in Vegas. I'm still 50/50 as money is kinda tight for me right now. But what the hell right? I figure I should go to remind myself of how poor I am and how I could never afford all the cool gadgets that they showcase. =)

Perhaps the fellahs should film a segment at CES. I think that would be awesome

If I do end up going maybe we can gather up a Totally Rad Posse and hit up the show floor or have a forum get-together afterward?

Dude. I am suddenly SO into this idea. If anyone has a sure fire way to get me onto the floor I'll be there in a heartbeat. (Wait...no. It'll take me longer than a heartbeat to get there, but I can take my time anyway it's still a couple weeks away.)

Seriously, does anyone know a good way to get in if I'm not affiliated with consumer electronics?

I'm most interested in the HD-DVD presentation, and whether Warners will use that forum to announce finally HD-DVD exclusivity.

Which, after the disastrous release of HARRY POTTER and BLADE RUNNER on Blu-Ray (as well as the ongoing failure and delay of their first Profile 1.1 title TERMINATOR 3), would seem pretty obvious at this point
