As the title says....

Anyone knows if this is going to be a show about actual science, or just the kind of funny clips like the first episode?

What's the show going to be like, is it going to be wierd like the pilot, or informational, or what?

I really hope this show contains actual science information, as well. The internet has enough idiotic faux parody shows already. It was also add some nice variety to rev3 that they are looking for.

sorry guys, but I dont think that there is any REAL science in the show. It used to be a skit on unscrewed, heres one from back in the day on youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7jw01C3ipaQ
I wounder if rev3 pays g4 to use the same name.

yeah, I'm kind of confused about what to expect from this show.

Maybe you can expect black-and-white comedy skits that are less than a minute long...

Show was a little short and pointless for a pilot, still interested though!

I was utterly disappointed with the first episode. I seriously hope they take it in a more serious direction. As it could be cool. Honestly, I really hate the unscrewed and martin sargent shows. They just seem so stupid to me, and he tries too hard to be funny/goofy.

I agree with the other posters .... that's a large download for nonsense. It might make sense as an aside in a larger show, but it makes no sense as a stand-alone, and even though it has funny lines, it's not something I would watch twice.

I loved this when it was on unscrewed, and it brought back good memories.

This was the lamest thing ever. I couldn't delete the file fast enough, and couldn't spew out enough curse words quick enough to satisfy my anger for actually downloading it.

I have to agree with the majority here... Who would want to watch this?

They were great on Unscrewed but just felt stupid and pointless on it's own. Maybe build it into "The Martin Sargent Show" combining all of his shows together into one big show with each existing show being segments.

It was to short and boring for me to really say anything about it, id like to know if they will keep it this short and stuff, the black and white seemed cool tho

Rev3 needs less of this, it seems like filler unless they extend it and add (real) information and (real) jokes. You guys are clever! Make something strikingly original, plz!

Yeah it does seem like a filler show. I hope when they come up with more original shows they can work it into martin seargents existing show.

Ba hahahah! That's hilarious that you talk like that! I'm so going to start talking like that in person now. That sounds like a newspaper review of a movie or something:
Crumbles: "Two thumbs down!"
Ramzi's hairy chest: "At the end of Mysteries of Science, I"m like "What the hell???""

it seems like they just wanted to get as many new shows out as possible and this was a 10 minute decision. It sucked and should not be considered a show

It's actually really funny, but it just seems kind of pointless to wait for unless you're able to make a bunch of clips on a regular basis.

im actually in the works, with a friend of mine at making a science podcast. i just got a degree in theoretical physics and figured this would be a good use of it. basically right now the plan is to have it aimed at fun and exciting science and experimentation (TLC or discovery drunk and on speed basically(and aimed at more than couch potatoe morons)). just wondering if anyone in these forums had any ideas or sugestions as the show is still a couple months away.

I always wanted to see a magic- science show. Where they do magic tricks using chemistry and other things and then explain how they do it.

I, too, will admit that although I found the show amusing, I also found it to be kind of pointless. It is definitely more of a skit or segment, as it was on techtv.
I think that they should still produce them, but maybe they should look for more skitty type 2 minute shows, and try to combine them all together? Or expand the segment to be more like a regular show.
I will give it the benefit of the doubt right now. Like I said, it is entertaining, but just not on it's own.
I think it would be better if they just combine this segment, Web Drifter, and Infected into a single show much like what Unscrewed was.

I have just seen the 2 episodes of Mysteries of Science... it was bad, not funny at all.
Why not make a serious Science show?

I second that, its friken stupid. I thought the first episode was a teaser or trailor and that it would be an actual show. I would have to say randomly hitting your keyboard while doing a youtube search would pull up better and funnier content.
That being said, I love every other part of the new and improved REv3

Someone call and see if Bill Nye wants to help. I'm sure he could give the show some real meat while retaining the zaniness.

The first time I watched this I thought something was wrong with my download... the show was over before I realized it had even started. Like I posted in the Episode 2 discussion, it's not a bad idea, but not worthy of its own show. It could be a great segment, but unless they change it and make some additions, that's all it could really be in my eyes.

The Universe-niverse-niverse....
Today we're going to learn how to make plutonium from common household items."
