Just wondering, what exactly is the target audience for this?
The viewers who were fans of the original will likely be disappointed by the update, while the younger generation will have no idea what it is, or not give a damn.

i asked the same question about transformers and just about every other remake. but, and correct me if i am wrong, isn't this a continuration of the original show?
Wow... not a fan of "Mike"... Will Arnetts voice is ok but the "Mike" skin crawl. And I love the car ;) I want one... like bad!!!!

Pure classic.
But the modern mustang is butt ugly.
Original series with the high tech car with then a sleek slim car that looked high tech...the mustang looks big bulky and boxy.

lol my point is that in the Knight Rider 2000 movie kitt( which is the computer not the car) was put into a '57 chevy. the firebird in the show was sleek but not slim at all.
so excluding supercars, what car would you like to see in the new show?

I think they still should have used the last iteration of the Trans Am. I also think they should have stuck with a American car for the movie. And I really, really hate the voice of the new computer.

That teaser would have been cooler if when the car drove off, it took off faster with smoke billowing from the tires and maybe throw in some laser beams.

I think if Will Arnett constantly said "Michael" throughout the show it would remind me too much of Arrested Development for NBC's liking. :)
