i remember back around in episode 1 they mostly talked about tech. Now adays all the talk about is stuff that is no where closely related to tech. It seems like The Onion meets Fark. I know that the format isn't gonna change because of this post. I still love the show but, i miss tech discussions. Sure stories about fighting 5 year olds is great just i wish they would include a majority of the show towards tech news as thats where the show gets its roots from.

If you want tech then yeah just listen to Twit and watch stuff like Gigaom,Tekzilla and download the old eps of Indigital and then of course Systm.

It's pretty much what they find cool that week. I don't mind if it is tech or not. Diggnation isn't a tech show. Hell I wouldn't mind if they just talked about whatever they wanted like a radio talk show would. Kevin and Alex are hilarious when drunk.

Agreed, they haven't really changed, Digg has just been getting more mainstream. A lot of their stories are still tech related: Fighting 5 year olds website, Duke Nukem videogame, Vista tech disappointment.

TWIT is really good for tech news, probably what you're really looking for.

they need to drink more. Like a lot more. They should get as wasted as they did on the london show every show.

Yes, but we don't want them to end up having a liver transplant from all the alcohol consumption. ;) As amusing as they are while hammered, I'd rather not see them get stuck with a trip or two to the hospital because of it. Let them get a good buzz and go from there.

Besides, everyone knows that its all Industrial Lights and Magic, probably not even beer in there, besides, it's all about the social engineering angle. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if they aren't even real, just animatronics, albeit pretty damn realistic. It's amazing the things they're doing with cameras these days. Pretty soon Eye-Fi WiFi Robots will be cleaning the house, and all the actors you see on 'popular' shows will never die, since they're all CG anyways.

Besides, with stem-cell research, I could probably end up being a surrogate organ donor for the both of them. God knows I'm not Dr. Who, and will probably need a liver swap here pretty soon as well. [Damn Vodka is a Cruel Mistress]

Diggnation is Photoshopped the lighting is all wrong. I thought they'd be a whole lot more sophisticated than that... (Love your sig by the way, laughing my butt off)

This brings me back to that xkcd comic with the antique sword? Hilarious! I'll throw a link up if I can find it...

see the problem with that statement there is that i find the host of those alternatives youve suggested to be drab and boring. sure sometimes kevin makes apperances on Twit. and ive only seen one epi of tekzilla but i like digg because its simply two guys on couch delivering content and having fun with it at the same time. not all stiff and following the normal TV standards.

that being said if you have already watched this weeks episode of digg i find the next best thing to be the totally rad show. and that was mainly because alex is on that show, but after awhile jeff and the other guy grow on you.

Try Geek Entertainment TV or Boing Boing TV, they're relatively good too.

I know what you mean about TWIT and GigaOm, they can get boring. I think it may be because they're almost aimed at an older demographic, more new than tech really.
