Could play a diff game each week on like tuesday or something. PC XBOX Wii or PS3. We can vote on the games each week and make sure we rotate so if people dont have a game they wont be left out for 2 or 3 weeks.

How often do these things actually get up off the ground, heh. Halo nights, CoD nights, nothing that I know ever began (unless I'm being left out :()

We should make use of the TRS360 account for any 360 games.

Well that just sounds practical. What are you thinking?

Hey this sounds like a great idea! To deal with the issue of everyone having different consoles, maybe we could play some free online games or something and post our scores here. Just an idea.

Sounds like a good idea, but lets see if it actually takes off, lol. Count me in on anything PS3-related (or even DS!) :)

We should gather a list of people and the games/systems they have (that they'll play online). That way, we can just plan one big game night and have people with the same systems group together. Of course, we could all be in the same chat room if that's possible so there can be communication between everyone.

And yeah, we can score duel, like people with Rock Band or Guitar Hero but on different systems.

I'm totally on board for this. I only have a PS3 and a Wii right now so no 360 for me:(

I agree that we do need to get a list of players, systems, and games we have in common for this to work though.

Maybe open another thread for each system where people can list there gamer tags or psn ids along with the games that they have.

Maybe make the thead topic something like

TRS Game Night : 360
TRS Game Night : PS3
etc.

and after like a month or so we can compile it all together in to one list once everyone has had a chance to put in there info and than we can do a poll for gaming and a play time for everyone.

what do ya think?

Um...I'm not listing all of my PC games. Although, the majority don't have multiplayer in them.

But, would there be a thread for every system or just the main manufacturers...there may not be a high demand for ps2/xbox/etc...but it wouldn't hurt.

i dont think there would have to be a thread nessacarly for every system

maybe we could start off with a poll thread to see what systems everyone actually owns first. and get a general idea of who is interested in a game night and what console they would want to use most.

i have also gone into the psn id thread and added a bunch of trs people. so if you get a friend request go ahead and add me.

i think this is a good idea and just need a little more time to think it thru. i can already start to get a list together of people from the xbl gamertag & psn id threads.

if have multiple platforms that your interested in go ahead and put your id's in you signature and maybe put something like interested in game night below them or something so i can make sure and get you name.

not quite sure how to go about it all as of yet. need some time to think.

I was just thinking it might be better to just use a Playstation thread rather than PS3/PS2/PSP, etc...same with Microsoft, Nintendo and PC. The separate systems can be noted in each post from there. I don't know what other systems offered multiplayer to warrant a thread though.

(Personally, I have a PS2, PS3, PSP, PC, DS and Wii...since the Atari isn't internet capable ;>)

ok i get what your sayin....that would work.

I say we keep it all in one thread just so we don't have to post in a bunch of threads if we have more than one system. Just organize the post by system, then by game then whatever else is next (friendscode for that game or whatever)

Yeah, for this to work, it just needs more planning. Hopefully this time, we can get it off the ground (before interest is lost again!). Who owns the TRS360 account? We should send a message out to everyone on that list to check this thread out (or whenever we get the system thread up).

Awesome ideas guys. Just to toss mine into the mix..

I was thinking more of something like picking up a game DS or ps3 or any system and just playing it. not everyone will get to play every week, but that will just build anticipation anyway. I dont think we wanna break it all up into consoles and segregate.

Just my 2 cents. If you like the other idea then by all means run with it. Team effort :)
