just got the ps3 a week or two ago and was wondering how i could use it to play TRS or Diggnation on my TV. It seems the ps3 doesnt even show it as a file when i put it on a usb stick or try to stream it. Does the ps3 not allow quicktime files? dont tell me i have to convert the file

Doesn't the last PS3 update allow Xvid files to be streamed? If so, try downloading the Xvid version of the show and stream it to your PS3.

not to tell me? what?
You can't download the HD format and watch it on the PS3 cause it doesn't support the .mov format.
You can however download the XviD directly from the PS3 browser, and watch it on the PS3 when it's done.
If you've got some files that aren't appearing on a USB stick on the PS3, select the USB stick and press ∆ and select show all files, or something like that.

If you have a video file on a USB stick on DVD-R and CD-R you first need to make a folder called "Video" Ps3 first looks for the folder called video and plays files back from that folder.
The same goes for pictures and music.
You should read the manual it's all in there.

TVersity (http://tversity.com/home/). Check it out. Only thing I can find that it can't stream is .mkv but I don't get many of those.
