i remember playing the Bioshock demo and thinking wow this is cool. so i bought the game, but it wasnt long that i did not find the game very entertaining, and i did not like the story i did find it epic and involving. i did not havea character i really liked. and the idea of a city underswater then these rediculous splicers. and no interaction with the outside world. i just think if you made it game into a movie it would suck. and im glad TRS made CoD4 GOTY because its absolutly a better game. and i cannot wrap my brain around why people like bioshock so much. it was not that cool to me.

How many threads do we need on this subject? Can we get these threads merged or do I need to start a Bioshock > COD4 thread?

and that's because we all have different things that we are into. IF you want a game that is completely on Rails and will play the same every time in single player then COD4 is your game. It's the multiplayer that really adds the extra dimensions to COD4. Still, that won't give the rich story that Bio-Shock has. Different people are going to have different takes on these things. Personally I don't get why people are so fascinated by Console Gaming, but I'll accept that it's how most people wish to game. Still, it's not for me.
well for your info, im prolly of a rare breed i played cod4 on PS3 and PC, i own it for pc, the reason i bought it though was cause of my experience watching my friend play it on ps3. but im no console gamer im primarily pc, and for the most part i usually hate single player experiences the reason i think cod4 is better than bioshock is because i tried to give bioshock a chance and when i did it failed, then when i happend upon cod i could not put it away i had to finish the next level i had to move on i had to see the end, and it was fasinateing enough that i had to beat it on vet mode. but i will say this, i did enjoy the final boss fight at the end of bioshock
