aside from Razor I really wasn't super impressed by 2007, 2006 was rock solid though.

Yep. BSG is the best show on TV. 2007 was a great year for people who've invested in the characters and story since the start and it continues to reward it's fans. Great show. Great year.

Season 1 - AWESOME. Some of the best SciFi ever put on TV.
Season 2 - Not as good as Season 1 ... but more than made up for it by the scene where the Galactica FTL jumps into the atmosphere on New Caprica.
Season 3 - Good, but not good enough to keep my wife interested in the series.
RAZOR - Solid, better than most season 3 episodes.

OK. My question is. I have Season 1 DVD. I have Season 2.0 and 2.5 DVD (blood sucking leeches getting my money twice that year). I am yet to purchase Razor, because WHERE THE FRACK IS SEASON 3 on DVD!! (and don't give me some writers strike BS either ...)

This year's BSG wasn't the best for me, though I still totally love the show (and my Starbuck!).

I love starbuck. I dont know what it is about tough chics, but i dig them.

Personally i lost it this year for BSG. Its good, ill still watch it, but its not on my OMG I GOTTA BE HOME TO SEE THIS SHOW list. I would put atlantis above it and thats being aware that atlantis is still a little weak compared to its parent show.

Razor was good but there is a point in any story where the story is told and it needs to be finished. BSG is just there hanging in flux and milking its achievements. I guess thats something very different about these days and the times of old. Before you could just have a great idea and sap it for a decade. Now it seems that we like people dieing or leaving the show or better yet having some closure and paying respect to the story and characters and not just saying " hey lets put them in this F'd up situation, that will boost ratings". At least thats what i like, change. This is why farscape is one of the best shows of all time.

But yea, i love the show still, but like a lover that you wake up one day and realize itll never be deep and long lasting. I guess im saying BSG is a booty call.

I'll take Starbuck as my booty call!

I keep meaning to Netflix Farscape (literally for over a year now and I keep forgetting!), I've heard such good things about it.

I kind of like Atlantis more than SG1 now and though I love Kaylee (sorry, Jennifer - w/e) I miss a certain someone who used to do her job (trying not to spoil for anyone) so much.

I'm surprised I didn't hear a mention on any of the recent TRS episodes about the 2-hour BSG movie that aired in November, which frakking rocked! It reminded me how much crap is on television cause BSG continues to make them all look silly.

Perhaps I'm biased, because BSG would have been #1 in my Totally Rad Awards for Television in 2007. :p It continues to be my favorite show on television.

Anyhoo, have you guys in TRS seen it? Its on DVD and, uh, something called the interwebs too....

Yes, the series seemed to die off once they were on the planet. The rescue and escape was pretty awesome, but it never recovered fully for me. The damage was done.

I didn't see Razor YET, but i will.
I enjoyed all of the seasons alot, some of the best tv out there imo.
But I can't say enough about the season 3 ender. When we see the 4 of the final 5 and that scene in the cargo room, I was shook. And when Col. Tigh gives his little speach "We do our jobs..." I was truly blown away. That guy is an effing actor. I think that when you reallly look at this show and watch the character development and see how well each one is acted and written, it is truly some of the best on tv. I LOVE IT! BSG FTW!!!!
