What horror (or non) movie moment made you jump out of your seat? (Spoilers included)

Episode 48 Kevin talks about getting scared while seeing The Eye. I'm thinking, dromers/ettes have seen so many horror movies that not much can make us (or someone else) jump...but there has to be one or two stories.

Actually, I'm not a huge horror movie fan...but I can remember going to see "I Know What You Did Last Summer" while I was 8 months pregnant. Bad idea. At the end of the movie there's a scene where Jennifer Love Hewitt is standing in front of a foggy mirror and "the fisherman" jumps out at her. Scared the piss out of me. My friend started choking on her nachos and I literally had a contraction.

I also remember waaay back in the day taking a friend to see Arachnophobia and during some key scenes something fuzzy and tickling her neck. She jumped sky high out of her seat

This one is funny. My 6'3" big, strapping brother and myself went and saw "The Forgotten". Well, this scene where Alfre Woodard is running and gets abruptly pulled into the the air by unseen forces. My brother literally hit the floor...lol.

My favorite movie theater moment of all time...

It was Saw. *spoiler alert* when Cary Elwes saws his foot off, he goes insane right? Well, for a split second, I was insane with him. I was literally out of my mind. It was crazy, I couldn't take it.

the only time i’ve physically jumped out of my seat in a theatre was watching ID4. i saw it on July 4 and when Big Willy finally took down that alien fighter jet everyone in the place jumped up and cheered.

i kind of jumped during Above The Rim. there’s a shot where the basketball is thrown and the camera and for some reason i thought it was gonna hit me (i have an unreasonable fear of things flying at me).

My non movie moment that scared the hell out of me was at Universal Studios. I took the Van Helsing Castle walk-thru and well at the very end there was a guy in a behind a curtain in a Werewolf suit that was about 7 1/2 ft. tall. Damn I ran out of that place in a hurry. I think I knowed a small child down but hey, he should be getting in the way of a scared fat man.

Even after hearing JLo's review of 8 Below with him describing this scene, I still jumped when the leopard seal came out of the whale carcas.
