hey,
Almost every time i try to play a song in itunes, the program shuts down about 2-3 seconds into the song. Sometimes it will play through the whole song but as soon as I click a new one, or it switches on it's own it will shut down.
I have tried re-installing the program twice now, but nothing has happened.
Any suggestions?

This has happened to me aswell. Far less stable than on Windows.

I'm not sure about that statement. I mean, I believe you guys have had problems, but I know iTunes 7 for Windows had a lot of bugs that affected pretty much anyone with the program than the release for Macs.

True, but iTunes 7 has never crashed on my Windows box.
Right, but iTunes 7 has screwed up on thousands of other Windows boxes. If you google it, you'll find myriad of forum topics about people posting their complaints about how it has tweaked or messed up something going on in their Windows box, OS X aswell.
You're so quick to put down Macs, Pamich.
I like a haughty and ignorant man. It turns me on.

I'm not putting down macs. I own one and it's fantastic. I'm saying that software made by a company for an OS made by the same company shouldn't suck this badly. It's both annoying and confusing.

my iTunes 7 constantly takes about 30 or so songs, removes their album and artist info, and replaces it with an <unknown> and places the long string of songs at the top of my Music list. I have tried renaming the artists and albums, and it just changes it right back the next time I open the program. any suggestions short of throwing my computer out the window???
