No, but then again I'm only 20 (well, I'll be 20 in May). However, I was just recently at Walmart and had a little kid say "Sorry sir" when he bumped into me (prolly 6 years old or something). It made me think "So, I'm Sir now".

when i got to shows in dallas now..i feel so damn old..and im only 21. its an odd feeling. my type of music (hardcore, metalcore, screamo, emo, pop punk, indie) is becoming more of the cool thing to be into with the teeny bopper age it seems. i cant go to a show anymore because of all these little ones.

My age hit me the other day when I realised I had been working full time for 20 years.

My age hit me the other day when I realised I had been working full time for 20 years.20 years... damn. I feel old and I've only been working in my career full time for around 8 years. Been working for around a total of 14 years. When I get my social security statements, the only requirement I haven't met is my age. It's too bad I'll never see that money anyway.

I'm 27 and have had arthritis since I was 14. I regularly monitor my blood pressure and salt intake (for preventative measures), and dye my hair primarily to hide the gray. I've been and lived through several things that most people can't fathom going through even one. I'm feel old sometimes, very, very old. But Cody's been making me feel a lot younger, which is nice. It's like it's okay to cry and feel like I can't carry the weight of my world at all times.

So (seriously) if that bothers you, then why don't you vote to privatize it so you can invest it the way you want?Seriously - it doesn't bother me. Its just a statement of fact. It is a tax I pay. I don't see it, so I don't miss it, and I beleive that social security is a social requirement of a capitalist democracy. The one I *do* begrudge paying is medicare ... because a.) I have to pay it AND private medical insurance, but b.) it is not universal health care (and yes, I'd happily pay more into medicare if it meant I didn't have to pay for private insurance - see how that works?).
Oh yeah, in case you missed it ... I am a non-resident alien who should (touch wood) have a greencard within the next 6 months.
@comhcinc - that heathen country of mine is an ally ... so much so in fact that I am not here on one of the mythical H1B Visas that are "tekken phatty's jerb" ... on a special class of Visa unique to Australians - the E3. A lot like the TN with Canadia, but more exclusive.

I turn 25 this month and my find feels like many ages, some old some just the right age and some feel much younger than I am but my body thanks to my hypothyroidism for sure feels old sometimes,I'm slow and have aches and pains and constant pops and crackles as I move...and many other things this damn thyroid does to me....only thing I have going for it that feels good is my strength..built like a damn gorilla naturally and that feels young.
So I had nick names like Adam ant (since ants are strong and I liked that one in school and it was put on my lettermans jacket) and my dad called me Silverback.
Do I feel old?
I guess it depends since the question is too general to me.

Token that is too bad. For one thing stay legal. This country needs good folk. Nothing wrong with Ye old Aussies. That is a bad statement for so many ways. I know it is more British, but Australia was colonized by English criminals, kinda. Forget it.
Second thing is I say that you have to be legal to work here and all. But, if you are not to draw Social Security ever, you should not pay it. I paraphrase Chris Rock. "That is not taxes, that's a Jack!" That is not a direct quote, but has the same meaning.
As far as my age. I have said for years I feel about 80. I have a lot of gray hair, but I don't mind. My Mothers father, who you are supposed to get the hair gene from, was gray really early, died at 87 with a full head of hair. So ok. On the other hand, that means I have 7 years left. Kind of a downer.
With my heart problems, bad shoulders (meaning no rotator cuffs left), bad back, past broken neck that is beginning to cause more problems because I never sought treatment for it, no more cartilage in my knees. Other things too that stem from broken ribs and such.
I do indeed feel like I am 80. At 32 years old. If the actual physical age of that Grandfather sustains me. I have about 55 more years of a lot of ouch. But hell, in the 32 years, I have worked hard for everything I wanted to do. I guess it is worth it. Not to mention, I am not done yet.

I know it is more British, but Australia was colonized by English criminals, kinda. Forget it. You realise that being a criminal is no longer a requirement for citizenship in Australia right?
But, FWIW, half of my family were transported in the early 1800's for theft, and for receiving stolen goods. In Australia, that is considered equivalent to descending from the pilgrims.
Oh, and by marriage, I am rumoured to be related to the royal family in a convoluted and very illigitimate way (Henry VIII had no sons? Really ... :) )

"That is not taxes, that's a Jack!" That is not a direct quote, but has the same meaning. Actually, saying I will never draw down a pension from SS is a half truth. As an Australian citizen, I am treated under a dual taxation system. As such I pay all US taxes, but receive no benefits. That part is easy to digest. The upside is that any US citizen working in Australia payes Australian taxes, and gets bupkis there. But the kicker is, we still qualify for SS in our own countries.

Kind of a downer.I got the grey hair too ... and have had since my late teens, getting progressively more prominent. Grey hair runs in my fathers family. You are right about hair colour (black, brown, blonde, red) being hereditary, but that is independant of the lack of pigment which causes hair to grey. It has stabilised as a definate salt and pepper look through my hair, and grey flecks through my (short) beard.

Henry VIII had a legitimate son, Edward, by his third wife, Queen Jane. Edward was king until he died at 15. His oldest sister, Mary, became queen after him, and she was better known as Bloody Mary. She died, and then England had its first Elizabeth, middle child of Henry VIII, daughter of Anne Boleyn, the most famous of Henry VIII's decapitated wives.
Rumors exist that Henry VIII had a daughter, then a son, with his mistress, Anne Boleyn's own younger sister.
So the fact that he had at least one son has never been in dispute. :p

However, Edward, Mary, and Elizabeth all died without children, ending the Tudor rule. Any decedents would have had to come through Mary Carey's line.

A load of BS. If you pay, you should qualify.I do - sorta - just not here. I can pick up my cheque in AUD ... and man I am going to love that universal health care again when I return. Also ... Australia has a budget surplus, and didn't raid the "locked box" to fund a bogus war.
However, Edward, Mary, and Elizabeth all died without children, ending the Tudor rule. Any decedents would have had to come through Mary Carey's line.Quite true ... and actually what I meant to say ... a son with a continuing line. I think you mean to say "any legitimate decendents". Henry VIII had many courtisans.

I feel older now because of two things.
#1 - Over Halloween I remembered my father dressing me up as a Hobo and lighting a cigar in my mouth on stage at my elementary school. That was a weird memory (Mad Men-esque) that got even weirder when I realized that they would have been the same age as I am now.
#2 - The baby on the cover of Nirvana's "Nevermind" album is turning 20 in February and works for Shepard Fairey (wiki).

I think I am in the "old" camp now.
I noticed yesterday that I prefer the classic rock station to the top 40 station. I just don't care for the current music of the day. This hip hop/techno Lady Gaga stuff just doesn't do it for me. I would, frankly, rather listen to 80's era metal hair bands. Give me Dio (Last in Line), Metallica (Seek and Destroy) or Judas Priest (You Got Another Thing Coming) any day of the week.
Where did our old friend the distortion guitar go to? I sure hope he comes back soon!
