Did any of you guys buy this issue? If you haven't bought it yet, save your money. I didn't like it. Some of the art was pretty good, but this comic does absolutely NOTHING for the story.

Agree, disagree, but do it here! Octopus!

It was cute. But not $3.99 level cute! It was just a big ad for the individual continuing series like Omega Flight and Ant Man! Blah!

I thought you were asking for us to choose sides between Jlo and DannyT.

It's a tough choice. Who's side would I be on?

Well, DannyT is the underdog of sorts with all the tackling, slapping, anal beads, rapping humiliation and all. But JLo is a minority who is looking for the attention that his broken home couldn't provide.

I think I'll take DannyT's side simply because he'd give up his ass in gratitude.

(Is chocolate falafel flavored taint a carb?)

Don't steal my thread mother****er.

And I agree Jlo, it's like "Here's a bunch of our comics that might not made as much money as Spider-man, Fantastic Four and Avengers, how about you buy them anyways! Wuhu, my name is marvel! Buy 'em, cause Civil War is cool, and so are these characters, even antman."

(I know, Antman rocks).

Btw, did you guys read Civil War Captain America? I was so disappointed with that issue, instead of expanding on Captain America in Civil War, they're just starting a new storyline with the Red Skull. That sucks.
I really like titles like Spider-Man and FF that are really important to the Civil War story.

this "issue" seriously should've been FREE. And to think, I even looked forward to it, not knowing what it was. It was a 4 dollar teaser for everything else people aren't reading. Lame.

the best part of this issue is the way Howard the Duck looks on the cover.

Yeah, I was totally looking forward to it too.
I thought it would be about why some of the heroes choose the side they're on.

HAHA! I'm so glad I have no idea what you're talking about. I stopped buying comics just because "Civil War" was slapped on it after I got Civil War: X-Men. Seriously, I liked Heroes for Hire better than that garbage.

In general though, is anyone else getting tired of the whole Civil War thing? I mean, since it's been selling out, Marvel's delayed issues, extended the series, and all sorts of crap. I swear, the second they pull Daredevil into the whole Civil War thing, I'm dropping it (and I know what you're saying, but I mean Matt Murdock. Those of you who've read know what I mean.)

Seriously, Civil War: Punisher War Journals? WHY THE **** would the Punisher have ANYTHING to do with Civil War? He doesnt have special powers, and he doesnt even really have a costume. By ALL accounts he's a serial murderer that deserves to be behind bars for THAT REASON, not because he's refusing to sign the regis.... wait. I guess I dont know what that series will be about, so I shouldnt smack talk it. I've been rambling too much, must be tired. What am I talking about again? Nevermind.

Oh shit! There's gonna be a Punisher Civil War series?!?!?! I'll take it!

I'm not tired of Civil War at all. I think it's some of the best superhero comic EVER.
Some of those titles are ****ing good, other's aren't. But you can't expect all of the titles to be good.

And BTW, this is a ****ing war, this is what the Punisher is man, there's gonna be a lot of shit to punish. Who cares if he got powers or a costume.

and that is why those guys carry the antithesis of every one of my opinions, at least on the episode jlo was on. man. listening to those guys, i think, would be like watching foxnews, you'd watch it and assume you thought the opposite. either that or talking to drunk frat guys at parties.
