A couple of things:

That Ben kid with the Guitar Hero video has a bunch of videos on YouTube of him playing Guitar Hero over the past couple of years. He really is that good.

The low pass jet gets a "Prandtl-Glauert condensation cloud" or "shock cone" when the jet reaches a certain speed depending on the humidity. The air coming off the front of the jet which is incredibly high pressure because it's being displaced by the nose meets the low pressure air in the back of the jet. You will see basically the same effect come from the business end of a paintball gun when it's shot or from Nuclear explosions.

I know they said middle america for possible live diggnation. I'm sure thats like the "midwest". But last year the guys(ok Kevin) mentioned SXSW in Austin. For me thats probably the closest they would get to texas (ama). I know SXSW is March 7 -16 not Febuary like mentioned on the show but heres hopeing for a SXSW live diggnation. Oh yeah and hopefully a commitment soon me and my fiancee need 1 month notice for vacation time WOOT!!!

That visual condensation isn't a sonic boom. A sonic boom is developed from similar properties though. The condensation is formed when the high and low pressure air get pushed together, the same thing happens with the sound waves that the jet makes getting pushed together. Thusly you can have the condensation cloud without breaking the sound barrier. A sonic boom is basically what people hear when the sound waves which have overlapped each other reach the listener. So regardless of when a jet or anything else breaks the sound barrier, if the jet is within audible distance, you'll hear the sonic boom if it's traveling at Mach 1 or faster. Example: The Concorde flying overhead is already at cruising speed (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=annkM6z1-FE&feature=related) (about Mach 2) and people still hear the sonic boom.

They mentioned they didn't know if there was a way to download nightly news. I use a software called Miro to get nightly feeds from ABC, NBC, CBS, & CNN. I also use it to watch this show as well as some of the other revision3 shows. The software isn't bad but I'm sure there are better ones out there.

I was curious if it was beer or alcohol all together that they decided to stop drinking. Still, Kevin and Alex could take things in a different direction and (in my opinion) should start talking about some energy drinks or anything else for the next couple of weeks. I think this would help recharge the batteries while off of the sauce. I noticed that Kevin had a really interesting tea setup and thought "well, at least it's something".

I just started watching the latest episode. That intro was really great. I forgot about the no alcohol thing and it totally caught me by surprise. And the sound accompanying Kevin and Alex's "Aww..." was perfect. Thanks for being such awesome producers and shiz, I just wanted to put my two cents in on that.

I work for the station that did the Soulja Boy thing. She's from LI, not Jersey. (Not that it makes a difference once you get outside of Manhattan, really)

And she's traffic/entertainment. Not weather. You'd NEVER see Churchy doing that dance. lol

But it's cool that I finally have some sort of connection to Kev and Alex now! Maybe I should get Jilly or Lisa to wear a Diggnation shirt on the air. Or I'll wear mine the next time we're doing something dumb for a flashcam bumpshot.

I'm with ya on that. I love when they get all out of control because they're running out of tape. I think with them doing the month of January sober, they don't go off on tangents as much.
