Making a quick buck on the internet....

So I have done a few different things to make money on the internet and I was just wondering what anyone else has used or what they have done to make some money over the internet? eBay sales? Etc....

Meanwhile: On topic. I put together a website ages ago to help my dad sell his art. Nice site. but I had NO way to know how to get traffic there. He didn't get one sale before he died. Pissed both of us off. It's all about traffic.

Suggest you get a webcam, and spam the hell out of AIM inviting them to a private show at Balzout1991 (<= see a hint of "underage"). You could becomes a hit :)

eBay is kinda cool. Go to thrift stores and find old computer games. Especially for cartridge systems. Bonus points if they come in packaging. Spring yard sales are another good place for this sort of thing.

Internet start-up, bootstrapped it, folded right before the VC funding started coming on, though we were in talks. I went into business with an ex of mine, and things fell apart when we broke up (got another girl preggers, but didn't tell me that as the reason for leaving until he was divorcing her over a year later).

I didn't make money on that, though learned a lot, and "failing" teaches you things you need to know, which means it's not really failing. I'd like to start a new start-up at some point.

Otherwise, I've done formal gown design, fine jewelry wholesaling, and eBay.

I ran a BBS once... got a couple people to sign up for it with promises of porn, then quickly closed it down a few days later. Nothing like easy money! :D
