Do you have re register for the new website or can you use your login info from here in the forum?

I have a question... where the hell does it tell you on the home page what show was just released?
*edit*
Ba hahaha, I just logged into the main site, clicked around and I'm already logged out again. I guess nothings new with REV3....

sigh. I must admit that while I'm a huge fan of Rev3 and Digg and DiggNation and The Totally Rad Show -- well, the new Rev3 site isn't as good as the old simple straightforward site... There's some things I like about it, but I really appreciated the simple straightforward look of the old site and I liked to just see the shows listed where I could go ahead and click on the new ones and watch or download...
hmm.

Same here.
They probably want us to subscribe in order to follow the schedule. That gives them more info on our interests.
I might be wrong and yeah please add Recent Episodes page that looks like the old homepage.
Other than that it looks nice.

To answer the questions here:
1. You don't need to re-register - your forum login should work on the homepage
2. We're working on a "new releases" spot for the homepage so you can easily find the new shows released - it may take a little bit, but we'll be getting it up there soon.

Would it be possible in the future to let us choose our time zones? Having to convert your schedule is a bit annoying - would be nice to set it in our account area and then the site adopts that time zone.

I know this is for questions but I really feel this is relevant and want to let me voice be heard.
As someone who has been with revision3 from the start....let me tell you what a warm feeling it is to see this new site. From the beginning when it was literally just systm and thebroken I have watched new shows pop up and they seem to only get better and better. First it was diggnation, then infected, and then watching the influx of "geekdrome" users swarm the horrible forums was quite an experience. I still remember Keith, Ramsey, and even Ron. It is amazing the growth that revision3 has had in the past 3 years and I can only hope that they will continue to grow and gain the recognition and the support that they deserve.
But let me take this time to just say "Thank you," thank you for embracing a community that is often ignored, a community that is often shunned upon, and a community that I fell in love with.

Hopefully it will show up soon and not with the "next update."
Also, come on REV3... don't be that guy. You are using full blown images for your thumbnails? Seriously? Don't be that guy. Don't.

Slow down. Somehow we'll live.
As for having to subscribe to shows to find out latest releases, that registers a big old Hell No.

Kudos! I really like the new look of the site; I find it a lot easier to navigate and a lot more attractive in general. I applaud your efforts.
Of course, I do have one suggestion. Naturally.
This may already be in the works, but if not, would you fine people please consider changing the forum's green/gray-on-black color scheme? I really don't enjoy looking at it. I feel like WOPR is going to challenge me to a game of Global Thermonuclear War at any moment.

It's not a major priority right now apparently, but it's happening for sure, how soon I am not sure.

Can anyone confirm this? I'm using ABP w/ easylist filter. On the new Rev3 site, not only does it block the ads, it block a number of website elements too.
Here are screenshots of the homepage with ABP turned on and off:
ABP on

ABP off

Anyone know which filter is blocking them?
Thanks
Chris
Update
I've played with ABP and found the items stopping the elements from displaying. Below is a screenshot of the settings:

I had to log into the forums first, it would never let me through on the front page login.
I'm not too sure I like where the site is headed, but all I can do is sit back and watch. Seems like there are a lot of glaring issues from just the usability end. Well see, soon enough.
But the login, HAS to be fixed.

:D
i agree
i like the dark (it is not really black it is more graphite grey) background but the green is not the best color / shade / tone
you could pick a pallet or commission one at
colourlovers (http://www.colourlovers.com/)

Adblock Plus Preferences -> Filters -> Add filter
@@http://revision3.com/static/images/
@@adserver.revision3.com
If you add both you should get everything back.

Wow. There seems like some negativity here.
I agree with Jimskis forum suggesiton, less because I hate the current one, and more for flow with the new site. Past that, I absolutely love everything about the new site. Much more functional and fleshed out.

yeah, it's all messed up, i had to log in to the forums to log on to the home page and before i figured that out i reset my password 2 times and so i go to change my password.... and it doesn't work... hmm... it just seems that a company and or who/what i know them as/from seems like they would be a little better at this sort of thing... i know it will soon be fixed blah blah blah, but hey... im bored
also, it looks pretty but useless.. sorry.. (thank you google feeds is all i have to say)
p.s. ...i still love the shows.
and... i thought i would be labeled a "founding member"... lol... oh well...
sigh. I must admit that while I'm a huge fan of Rev3 and Digg and DiggNation and The Totally Rad Show -- well, the new Rev3 site isn't as good as the old simple straightforward site... hmm.
+37! bring back page where new releases are shown in order (most recent first).

I like the old site design better. I liked that you could see all of the shows on the main page with short descriptions of the latest of each of the shows.
I actually found myself watching shows I had not seen before after seeing them on the main page.
