Some of you may know I have been working on a mobile version of revision 3 for most phones that can stream video and have a decent network, 3g (edvo etc) with EDGE it gets a bit tricker and videos have to be a bit lower resolution.
Anyhow besides that , I threw together a iPhone version which works with both a wifi connection and EDGE (one note on edge it might take a bit to buffer in some of the video)
give it a shot, point your iphone over to http://mvstreamer.mobi it should auto detect your iPhone and show you the iPhone formatted version...
please note this is in beta and any comments, suggestions and feedback are welcome.

thanks man, im working to add more shows and improve the system, unfortunately the iPhone is stuck with such a crappy network well at least EDGE but most shows will stream pretty good over wifi and you just have to wait a bit once you click play on EDGE while it loads in..
things are going very well thanks :P

You mean the iPhone just can't go to the REV3 homepage on it's own? Weak.

Ipod Touch & Iphone can use Rev3.
but like Digg's Iphone interface they created so that you don't have to load the entire page.
It's like a simplistic version of the site. http://digg.com/iphone#_stories
If you can change that up a bit, it would be cool to get a Forums button, The Rev3 Logo and some color.
Just some suggestions.... I'd save it on my Ipod Touch, but Safari won't let me watch the videos..... BUMMER

Just to be clear I wasnt making a complete revision 3 or digg interface for the iPhone, my project im working on brings video podcasts to the hands of people who can stream video to their phones, including the iPhone, if you have a phone that isnt an iPhone and streams you will see a completely differnt interface when you go to http://mvstreamer.mobi this can be seen when you just use fire fox or a browser.
My idea is to get the best podcasts and convert them in order for mobile phones to view them, which is a huge huge project undertaking since head phone has a different player, and cant play this format but can play this format, but is on a network that slow EDGE, version a network that is fast EDVO etc.. anyhow I dont want to go into the details but you will see when going to my beta site im slowly compiling a list of popular video podcasts and revision 3 has most of the top ones..
If you have suggestions on other video podcasts to add let me know, what really works is the short ones ie like 5 min or less but im game to adding anything that is funny..
this is all work in progress and work in my free time, ill plan to work on the iPhone interface over the weekend and im always adding features, I just wanted to make the revision 3 community aware that I offer a mobile version of some of the podcasts on revision 3 and a new iPhone version.

Gateway, I have to echo the thanks from the others. This is a great project and one that Revision3 ought to give you credit for!
My suggestion is add feeds for each cast and each format.
I've listened to podcasts on various Noika mobiles for a couple of years - WiFi ability and Nokia's free podcast app works a treat. However, when I found diggnation I started wanting to watch decent episodes. I am able to watch the small QuickTime format on all Revision3 casts on my current Nokia, but with frequent jumps due to the high frame-rate.
Your site overcomes that giving a fantastic selection of formats to suit, but I can't use the Nokia podcast software to find new episodes as you don't currently have feeds; hence my suggestion. Hopefully it's not too tough to implement as it would add a lot of convenience for me and I'm sure other podcast software users.
Thank you for your work.
