View Full Version : exclamation point next to diggnation on itunes

On my itunes when i try to refresh the diggnation podcast there is an exclamation point next to it that says that "diggnation" is not a valid address.
What to do?

Re-subscribe. It happened to me, too, a while back. It kept all my previously downloaded episodes just fine.
I bet the address of the rss feed changed.

They should take more care in changing RSS locations.

So I don't delete the current feed, I just go to diggnation in the iTunes store and click subscribe to reset the feed?

EDIT: It's interesting that in the itunes store when you look up diggnation you can't tell which feed is which. (Which is hd, small quicktime, large quicktime).
I added the small quicktime manually as that is the feed i use but i still have the exclamation. Maybe is just rev3's issue right now. Can anyone else confirm?

I'm having the exact same problem. It's probably because they're working out all the kinks of the new site. I'd just wait it out, it should be fixed eventually. Hopefully it's fixed by 6 tonight.

Jeez, I didn't even associate the two. Yeah. It's probably broken due to the new site rollout. I'm not sure, but it seems plausible.
I'll see if I can alert someone to this, but I'm guessing they already know.
For fun, I went to the RSS URL ( http://revision3.com/index.php?show=diggnation&r3feedtype=feed&r3feed=quicktime-high-definition ). It opened fine in Firefox, with tonight's episode showing as the latest. But when I copied the URL and manually subscribed in iTunes, I got this error:
"http://revision3.com/index.php?show=diggnation&r3feedtype=feed&r3feed=quicktime-high-definition" does not seem to be a valid Podcast URL.
Please check that you have the correct URL and try again."
Seems like it's more than just a different RSS feed address.

Rev3 staff has confirmed with me that they are aware of the problem as described, and are currently working on it. I pointed them to this thread as well, so if you happen to figure anything else out, post it here and they may or may not see it.
