depending on my day, since my ps3 is at work, if i'm not busy with clients i have been playing online anytime between 9-7 (EST).

i'll be sure to add you guys. I don't have CoD4 for PS3 (though I did, and i couldn't get online with it which prompted me to think that my game was broken since offline multiplayer wouldn't work either. Turned out it was a server problem which I foudn out after I returned it and bought it for 360)
but I might buy it again sometime to play with you guys and my sister.

How the fuck did you return COD4? I tried to return my copy of Assassins Creed cause it was freezing every 5 minutes. And it seemed like it would be easier to cure cancer than to return a freaking video game. The store told me they couldn't give me my money back because it was opened. They said i might have made a copy of the game. AND IT WAS A BLU-RAY. Is there even a way for common consumer to copy a blu-ray disk yet?

I actually returned the game twice. I picked up my pre order of the game and when I couldn't get online and when my multiplayer games that were local were freezing on the load screen I figured I had a defective disc. I returned it to gamestop telling them I had a defective disc. They said that other people were returning it too. My friend bought it for me for 360 after I picked up another PS3 copy of the game that was doing the same thing. It turned out it was an issue with the servers that was still effecting the offline multiplayer. If I signed off of the PSN the offline multiplayer worked like a charm. But the fact that I already had it on Xbox and all my friends had it on xbox too I decided to return the PS3 one to get Assasin's Creed. I just said it was defective and told them that it was freezing during load screens offline. Gamestop took it back. No questions. Which sucks cause I wanted to support infinity ward's dedication to making a perfect build on PS3. I bought it on PS3 for my sister for christmas and now she's buying it for me for my late christmas present. So I guess that makes up for it. I've purchased this game like.... 6 times now 3 for me and 3 times for others...and a friend pirated it once.

Well I guess you can tell how much I love this game...it seriously is like..my favorite game. hehe.

If you are having problems? Try turning off UPnP in your router.

Just letting everybody know that pretty much 100% of the problems are gone. I haven't been disconnected in a loooooooong time. They even have a new patch coming soon that will include a mute feature as well as establish and EVEN BETTER connection. The online portion now runs flwalessly for me. :D
