I can't watch the show on my philips DVD player. I watch diggnation, TRS, etc using the xvid download option. I prefer watching on my TV.

This show which I was very excited to watch lags big time. Hasn't happened before to any other show I watch from Rev3.

Please fix!

Tyia.

What Model Phillips DVD player do you have?

The Xvid and Divx codecs are fairly compatible, but not completely. It's possible there was a Xvid codec update or they did something different for that particular file.

I'm assuming your just burning the file to a DVD in order to save time. You might need to transcode it using Dr.Divx or even Mpeg2. I don't image there are any firmware updates for that DVD-player.

Thank you, I will try Dr. Divx. I've seen all the diggnations on my DVD player by just burning the Xvid file onto a DVD.

Thanks again for your help.

I'm just guessing. Do you have any other playing options?

I do. I could encode it to an actual DVD but I prefer the quick and dirty way of just burning the file and playing it on my DVD player. Wish they encoded it the same way as the other Rev3 shows.

I posted in the gadget forum that I was having issues with the Xvid version since Ep7 (includes Ep8) streaming on my PS3.

I believe a Codec update seems to be the issue I have checked the files with GSpot and it seems it has gone from V1.1.1 to V1.1.2 (Not 100% certain as I am away from my PC at the moment)

I love watching this show on my PS3!

Thought I would add my comment here.
