As a new (posting) member to the Geekdrome forums I was really impressed at the number of posters compared to other forums. How come no one talks about these numbers? Professional courtesy? Humbleness?
I think our numbers rock, and we should talk more about it!
Let's build this city on rock and roll!
...er, I mean, lets toot our own horn!

Its all comes down to our secret weapon, Sausage and Cooter posts. They make up roughly 15% of our total count. Suck that shit Diggnation! We've also got some peoples husbands and retarded kids in a race to get to 100 posts for no good reason. Perhaps the other forums are a little less childish in that respect.

Sweety, the more we brag about our numbers, the more people who don't give a shit about movies, comics, and video games come and invade the forums (I call them dreck). They get jealous because their forums are too quiet.
Just be happy with what we have without bragging.

Yeah, for some reason I just didn't think a recipe thread by a newbie was gonna fly around here Calvinslug. I think that is better off in a different forum.

As I enjoy most REV3 titles. I tend to post in whatever forum is most active. Enough members like this and you get sort of an exponential effect.
It is funny that Geekdrome has almost more posts than the rest combined.

What sort of numbers are you talking about??
Are you mistaking post count for quality? These forums are active, but don't mistake active posters for being active contributors - there are a lot of post whores out there that like to see big numbers. There are also people that post occassionally, but provide more insight than the daily list of spammers.
Like Masher said, people gravitate to the active forum - and you get all types here.

sadly, there are only about 6 girls that post here regularly and I don't believe any of us have those exact measurements...
although all our other numbers rock the casbah, the number of girls here is kind of sad.

Yes, TU, this is what I call dreck. All those people who can't stand to watch a full episode of geekdrome, but blow chunks all over the forums about their computers and such.
Ehh, chalk it up to me being a bitter old queen.
