I noticed recently people posting with no account ..names are in gray and have no post count yet posting and starting topics.

Just using this one as an example

Damn good question. I hadn't noticed that. User accounts split among servers, perhaps?

Maybe someone unchecked the "must be registered to post" box by mistake.

My hunch is that these are people signing up new through the new website, as opposed to signing up through the forums like we all did.

Something is probably not tracking properly between the two.

But that's just a hunch.
