There is going to be voice chat in Home so does this mean that it would be possible to do a TRS meet and greet gathering or potentially a live episode of TRS in home?

Im still unclear as to how they are gonna handle so many people online in such a small world. I assume that they will devide it up by regions. And if they do this will that mean that you cant visit a friends Home square if he/she lives on the other side of US or a different region?

Anywho....if you anyone knows enough to clear up some of these questions please post. I hope it will be open enough to maybe have a TRS gathering of some sort. Or possibly even design our on TRS Shirts in home.

I think if we had the answers we'd all be starting our own versions of this, and it's also likely why it hasn't really launched yet.

1) Yes, TRS meet ups would be possible.

2) I was under the impression that your private area is completely hidden and no one can get there except through an invite (possibly be your PS3 is the server hosting the area rather than a PSN server), and that the public areas would be fairly large, but also broken into "rooms" like how Guild Wars does cities. There is technically 1 city, but you might be in room 8 and have to switch to room 7 to meet your friend.

A lot is simply unclear because it hasn't launched and the beta users are under a NDA.

I'm really looking forward to this. I've been in Second Life for almost 3 years off and on but it's very laggy & glitchy. I'm not sure how Sony would handle giving users the ability to design their own clothing. If they do allow it you'd most likely have to run it through some sort of strict approval process. My guess is that Sony will be selling us their furniture & clothing or stuff created in conjunction with their business partners (like Pepsi or Final Fantasy branded shirts). Second Life is pretty good in that it allows their users to create & sell items but it also opens them up to having to deal with endless hassles involving copyright issues. I'm sure Sony wouldn't want to deal with all the complaints they'd likely get from people accusing others of having stolen a dress design etc.

i don't know. i hope that something like that could be done. it'd be pretty awesome. "live" home trs and diggnation? sign me up.

in the early episodes they talked about having a TRS space in home and playing the show there and stuff. I bet once it comes out, if it works like we all think, this will come to fruition.

I cant wait for home. Im supa excited :)
