I have heard that it is not easy to install on a mac, anyone have any trouble out there? If so what is the workaround? I heard you actually need to uninstall the previous version to get it to work.

I had no trouble what so ever. I installed it like I would any other software, I didn't have to uninstall or anything.

Yep. All I did was drag the icon from the installer into my preexisting Firefox folder, and that was it.
