I just recently came into owning a PSP. (yea! cool psp/ps3 stuff.) and as of right now i only have wipeout pure and beats. I have a couple of questions:

1) Other games I have to own as a PSP owner? Please note: Please don't tell me i need to install custom firmware so I can play emulators. I'm not that interested in custom firmware or emulators.

2) I've heard good things about Crush, is it that good? Is Exit any good?

3) Is a 2 GB memory stick decent or should I save my pennies for a 4GB, 8GB (or lest my wife divorce me a 16GB) memory stick?

*update*

I almost forgot:

4) Can you recommend a soft case for the psp slim and lite? Is the official Sony pouch/wrist strap package decent? Is there some other soft case that 1000 times better?

Suggestions for you:

Lumines

Loco Roco

God of War Chains of Olympus (Comes out in March I think)

Castlevania: Dracula X Cronicles (Rondo of Blood & Symphony of the Night!!)

Daxter

Patapon (Comes out in February)

I have heard that Exit is good, but I haven't played it myself.

Also, a 2GB memory stick is fine if u are just using it for save files and music. If you really want to watch video on your psp, get a bigger memory stick if you can afford it.

The guys have been talking about the DS version forever, but I have the PSP version of Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords. It is a must have. And I like to think it looks much better.

Remember also you can put flash games from the web on a memory stick and play them on the Psp through the web browser.

I used to own a PSP, and had a couple good games.
The first Need for Speed: Underground on the system was a blast. I actually enjoyed it more then the console version I owned.

X-Men Legends 2 probably the best version was on the PSP. Bonus characters and comic missions based of different events and such. I regret trading in the system for that game.

I'm interested in the new Silent Hill game.

It sucks, I traded in my PSP and now I'm kind of regretting it.

Daxter is a great platformer. It has one of the highest production values for any game that has come out for the psp, and it is a blast.

Castlevania is also a great one. It mainly features a remake of Rhondo of Blood, one very few of us in the states got a chance to play. The gameplay style is a little old school, more in line with the old NES versions of the game than the newer Castleroid style of games. The game looks gorgeous and there are multiple paths so plenty of replay value. It also has the original version of Rhondo of Blood and the classic Symphony of the Night, both of which can be unlocked pretty easily.

The Warriors is possibly the best $20 you can spend. It's a port of the PS1/Xbox version of the game. It's kind of a beat em up with a lot more variety. For example, one part has you trying to complete graffiti before rival gangs finish theirs. Cans of spray paint randomly pop up in the empty lot and all gangs scramble to get there first. You have to avoid fists, flying bottles, etc, get the can and get back to you art, hoping that your gang can protect you from would be attackers long enough for you to finish your art. I have consistently had tons of fun with this game.

Metal Gear Acid 2 is a strategy card game that sees you playing cards to move around a map and attack security guards as you try to break in and make your way to the secret intel. I thought it would be pretty boring but I picked it up because it was $10 and it had a 3-d mode. This game ended up being pretty deep and a whole lot of fun. Much easier to get into than I would have imagined.
