Saw the guys are gonna review it next show, anybody excited for it? Rocky Balboa was surprisingly good and I think Sly still has some fight in him. Also, judging by the uncut early trailer this is probably going to be his most over the top movie since "Over the Top".

I'm definitely going to see this. After seeing the aforementioned uncut trailer, I couldn't believe how gory/realistic the killings were going to be.
When I first heard he was doing it, I thought he would've went the Die Hard route and would've made it PG-13. I definitely wouldn't have seen it then. But, this is him being all bad ass.
I love a good revenge movie.

I can't wait to see this movie. It's been way too long since I've seen Stallone kick ass.

I was on the fence until I saw the Red Band as well. I'm going to go see it alright. I've been a big fan of the franchise so I'm hoping it's good. At the very least it can't be worse than part 3.

why doesn't anyone remember the last two Rambos... they were horrible. The first one is the only one worth watching.

True, but the last couple of Rocky's weren't great either...and I think Stallone did well with the last one.

I loved what Stallone did with "Rocky Balboa" so I'm definitely going to check out "Rambo." I'm just excited that he didn't tone it down at all and looks to be bringing in the old school 80's gore factor. I am slightly worried that this one will suck, but I think he's still got it. I guess we'll all find out on friday!

If you're going for campy, then I agree. Sure, I have it on DVD, but compared to 1 and 2, it's definitely not a great movie.
I mean come on, a person on roids punching 1350lbs per square inch? No one can take that punishment.
Plus, the death of Apollo Creed and the stupid robot scene really destroy the movie for me.

Are you tired of regurgitated nonsense coming out of Hollywood annually? Then don't go see Rambo. By going to see a movie like this, you are simply encouraging the studios to continue to pass on original work and invest millions of dollars in franchises and remakes that have a track record of making money, regardless of how terrible they are and they so often are. I am avoiding this movie like the plague. I find it interesting that people roll their eyes at Jerry Bruckheimer and Michael Bay for blowing things up (and rightfully so, some of those movies are terrible) but yet people are salivating over the prospect of getting to see 87-year-old steroid-addled Sly Stallone don the headband once more.
