I saw someone else with a thread like this, and it's prompting me to ask about a movie I've been trying to recall for over 15 years! Here's what I remember:
It's an "End of the World" movie, about a guy who wakes up one day and slowly starts to realize that he's the last person on earth. He leaves his house and there's nobody out. He goes to his job and there's nobody there. At a few points he comes across grossly-disfigured bodies that (if my memory serves me) look all swelled up. One part I'm not 100% certain of is whether he comes across any other people, but he might come across one or two. The only other thing I remember is that at the end of the movie, he has to blow up a nuclear power plant or something like that.
That's all I know about the movie its self. Aside from that, I'm almost certain it came out before 1992, and I have a feeling that it came out in the 80's, because I remember it being a big deal that my dad let me watch it with him when my mom was out of town once, because I hadn't seen many (or any) R movies at the time.
Any ideas, folks?
