Front page has it on the schedule that there's an episode coming out this afternoon (Wednesday).
Anyone know if this is just a product of the new webpage just telling us because it's written to do so, or is this on the front page because there's actually something to show?

1. This is Tuesday...
2. Could be a by-product, though Sarah did say if there wasn't going to be one she'd post and let everyone in the forums know.

Sorry...I'm an east coaster. It was technically Wednesday morning here when I typed the message. I have a tendency to forget that not everyone is on EST.

I'm hoping we start to get this show on a more regular schedule

It wouldn't really matter anyway since the shows are released in EST.

It doesn't bother me that there isn't an episode this week. But the fact that it showed up in the schedule got my hopes up :(

I want my show like it says on the schedule...
And I want a thing that tells me what the latest released show is...

it doesn't bother me that there isn't an episode this week, it bothers me that it showed up in the schedule and didn't come. It bothers me that Sarah herself said that they will do an episode and if something comes up she will post saying that the episode isn't coming, which I can understand, but she didn't post. So, perhaps this is going to be like how the broken was, full of empty promises of a new release only to have it die in the end. Which really makes me sad, but at least we'd end on the high note of Dave's studio walk through.

Funny thing is that if you look at Sarah's profile, she hasn't even signed in to the boards since Jan. 17th. I think she got tired of hearing all the pissing and moaning about VC baby (Which I didn't get) and the Fruit Club (which I liked).
With the way this is going, I'm beginning to think that the Gazette was her idea that she pitched to JLou, they decided it was a trial basis, and because of reactions to those episodes, Sarah probably figured it'd be best not to do them anymore.
That's what I think might've happened. I could be totally wrong though.

So, another hated episode? I feel that the responses to this episode will be along the lines of "These guys didn't answer for their crimes against the internet." and such...
Kronos6948, you might be right. Maybe it is a trial basis, but one of the things I've become to HATE about Rev3 is that they don't clue in their audience. We don't know if it was on a trial basis, and as it stands we honestly don't know if a new episode will come every week even if it is on the schedule. Though the thing that worries me the most, is that something will come up and a different show won't be released. Be it a diggnation, tekzilla, digg reel, etc. and they just won't say anything about it. Though, that might be better than the endless promising of new episodes of shows only to be disappointed every week, month or year. Like with Thebroken or ctrl+alt+chicken.

I understand where you're coming from. I think it's a case of us getting used to practically being a part of the company. But, if you think about it, how does regular network tv work? A guy pitches a show to the network. The network either accepts the pilot or not. Let's say that they do for argument sake.
So, they take the pilot, and show it to a focus group to get their reactions. If the focus group likes it, they start making promos and put the show into production.
Once the promos hit the streets, the official pilot episode and a few other episodes are already "in the can". So, there's really no input on future shows unless you're one of the people making the shows.
Here at Rev3, we get a say in what we watch. Think of it as us being an extended focus group, with more input. So, we get to see all the trial and error, and we can practically make or break a show (with a few exceptions like CAC and The Broken).
As far as the schedule goes, they'd be fools not to fix that. People rely on those schedules to know when the show comes out, so look for that to change.
I just wouldn't want them to cut us further out of the loop, and treat us like just regular tv watchers. JLou has been good about that so far. So, we'll see where it goes.
