Episode 2- Best Party Ever, So Far

Just finished watching this.

I enjoyed it a bit better than the first one.

Seems as if Jessica's a bit more comfortable behind the camera this time around, and the jokes aren't as forced as in the first episode, which is definitely a good thing.

Her last line was pretty funny, although she seemed a bit miffed about the video of "how drunk girls look to guys".

All in all, I say it's still better than the first episode, and I'm sure there will still be some more growing pains.

Yeah, the reverb is still there, and it's enough that you can catch either the noise gate closing on it or it's an editing faux pas when it cuts off the reverb trail.

Nice to see that the show is getting better. The writing/dialogue wasn't as forced as some have already pointed out.

Nothing better than Jessica hitting on a 16 year old. Haha.

I like the catch phrase too. Keep it Reel. Heh.

hate to say the same thing twice on the fourms but,

play the whole video, it's just a waste of time otherwise.
i'll keep watching painfully, but i don't want to watch half of a clip and go find it and rewatch the 'digg preelview' and then finish the clip or watch the snippets as seen in the Urband legend ER where you rewatch knowing what's coming for certian parts.

Well, this week they did play a lot more of each video, and she seemed a lot more natural. I'm going to keep watching on Revision3 site for now. If it keeps improving then I think I may have room for it in my iTunes Subscriptions. surprising to me considering the first week was such a stinker.

Amazing, Jessica looked much more NATURAL. Still feels very scripted, it comes with the fact that she is alone to present the videos.

It can't be helped but I'm a heavy Digg user and most of the time I already see the most dugg videos during the week. So it feels like a repeat. What I like from Diggnation is that they often present stories that I've missed. So I would like to see two or three videos that are editors pick.

Jessica is cute and all but she seems so forced with the jokes. Makes me feel uncomfortable.

I liked the leather outfit on the first show, but she seemed like she was wearing cows hide but trying to be a sheep. Bad reference I know.

I am asking for anyone that has to do with the show. Let me know what is coming and give me a chance to write a few jokes. I will probably write something for every video, but you may find one good enough. I am happy with that. Like I said, I feel uncomfortable watching someone struggle with humor. I would like to offer something. It may be darker than Jessica is used to, but it may help her release her dark side too.

At least give me a way to offer this to the show. Email or whatever.

No way. I don't need to see the full thing of all the videos, I should be able to check the show notes to see the whole thing. Some of the stuff I may not care for anyway, so I much rather see "just enough" to get what the buzz is about rather than site through an entire video I could care less about.

I have to agree. Could you imagine if most of the videos were between 6-7 minutes apiece? That would eat up a huge amount of time and bandwidth.

I have to agree. This episode was much better. Leaving the jokes to the commenters was good, and Jessica seemed a lot more comfortable delivering the patter. Tweaks I would look at would be more videos, play more of the videos with a little editing as possible and I would look at having a different "guest host" for Jessica to play off of... one week it's Sarah... the next it's Leo... the next it's Martin or Veronica Bellmont.... etc etc... All in all though... keep it up!

umm, that's EXACTLY how I feel about Martin... Jessica always make me wonder if she is reading a script or just comes up with some of the weird stuff she says on her own. Seems there is always some stupid lame joke, or some comment that comes out of left field, way left field.

Jessica's definitely the girl for the job on this one.
I was actually pretty surprised at how much better this episode was than the last one. I actually ended up going to Digg and poking around some of the videos from the show.

That said, It still needs to be a bit longer, and I'd love to see either a cohost or a change of scenery besides the fake CGed TV. It would probably also make it easier if the background were a bit softer and if Jessica wore some colors.

All in, getting better, and I'm looking forward to improvement on the next one!

I just realize that I haven't watched tv in over 2 months... I've been watching Rev3 content on Miro or tv shows on HULU...
most of the shows i watch on Miro are in HD... especially Rev3 stuff... will i ever go back?... i'm thinking about downgrading my digital cable service to just regular cable... what do you think??

Really liking the show so far. With a surprisingly good level of videos and fun presentation its going on my schedule.
Good to see Jessica back for this gig, doing a a great job.
