You guys did a good job on making the site load faster and adding the recently updated page but the site still doesn't work correctly in firefox on linux. The nice 4 changing picture at the top of the front page don't load and the background of the recently updated section is not right. There are also a bunch more things, you guys really need to test this in more environments and fix it.

So... SO much better, now.
The frontpage looks worse then it did before. The so-called "recent list" looks as though it was quickly thrown together as it just runs down the left side of the page and looks completely out of place. It's embarrassing.
How about old.revision3.com for those that appreciate the simplicity and functionality of the old site?

Hey cdubbs - thanks for liking the new changes to the site - sounds like the problems you're having are related to your browser not loading the updated style sheet or hitting a cached version of the old style sheet - just hold down shift and hit refresh on your browser a few times and you should see it looking how it should. I can assure you we do complete testing on many browsers and many platforms. If you're still having issues, PM me and we'll see if we can get it looking correct for you.

I think you might be having a problem rendering the css properly. The recent episode list is horizontal, across the page, just below the 4 looping top stories and show listings.
Can you take a screenshot? Or try refreshing/a different browser? Maybe give us more details?

Looks and loads so much better now! Even the square ad finally looks right.
After clearing all the cache and running CCleaner, I'm still seeing some rendering issues in IE7 and both Opera 9.5b and 9.25(current release):
IE7 - menu pops up under the image: http://i31.tinypic.com/2m3ie02.png
Opera 9.25 - menu doesn't render completely: http://i32.tinypic.com/10pao0h.png
Opera 9.50b - no menu: http://i32.tinypic.com/2pr8mdy.png
Opera 9.50b - open menu: http://i30.tinypic.com/el5hdx.png

If you see any funkyness with the homepage or any of the pages, hold down Shift and click Refresh in your browser....that will make the page reload direct from the server and it should look correct.
thanks for all the compliments and the patience!

Thanks for the detailed reports - we're aware of the IE7 and Opera bugs and are chasing them down...I'll report back when they're fixed.
I refetched the page and that corrected the "Recent List" from running down the left side and placed them horizontally. The frontpage does indeed look much better then it did, plus you got rid of that ass look the four round corners at the bottom created. :D

I'm really liking the new site design. It feels/looks like it's made to "grow". The old design, while clean and straightforward, really was starting to look to bogged down.
Nice job, guys.
I wanted to give a heads up though that the old address for the Forums (http://www.revision3.com/forum) shoots you to the "Down for Maintenance" page.

All I really want to say is how much I REALLY like the new website. Can't thank you guys enough! I actually never went on the old version of the website except to get the RSS feeds and be gone, now I check back on the site for new stuff all the time.
I know you've had a lot of work in the past few days but there is one thing I noticed while going to check the archived shows. Geekdrome kinda disappeared... The link still kind of works: http://revision3.com/geekdrome/
Don't loose any sleep over it, I don't plan on watching any old episodes of that show (but others might)

Looks much better then the original one. Is it possible to but the RSS feed back in the blog or am i just missing something?

Hey cdubbs, I just "fixed" my firefox. I can see the slideshow now. I added an exception rule to my AdBlock Plus for the REV3 website.
The exception looks like this:
After that, I just refreshed the page and the pics showed up.

Awesome site now guys! Question though about 2 things. Will we still get to have the hd flash player at some point even though we cant be paying members anymore? Also, weren't the old paying members supposed to get a little somethin' somethin' under there name or somewhere?

Text still seems to be cut off. Using Safari 3 in OS 10.5. Seen this on the Tekzilla page with the long description of the show.
ATM the front page also has the description text for Tekzilla episode 17 cut off since there isn't enough room. I still think that the vertical separators need to be increased in length and some horizontal ones added.
I have not decided if running the "recent list" vertical is really a good idea. When clicking the "More New Releases" button the episode and date information is lost.

It seems the feeds aren't working in Miro, because I get these messages:
"Couldn't load the feed at http://revision3.com/ifanboy/feed/quicktime-large (HTTP error)"
when using the Miro specific feed loaders or just entering the feeds manually.
This error during adding appears for the feeds of all the available codec types.
For some reason the TRS xvid-large feed did load when I added an extra "/" behind the URL,
but that doesn't work for Systm or iFanboy feeds I want to add.

Anyone else having flash player problems? When i watch, Diggnaion, Tekzilla and the digg reel on the flash player the video is choppy. I tried it at home and work and it is choppy on firefox, ie, and safari, it was true on a mac and xp machine. Or is it just me?

It hasn't been working for me either. I get the same error. The last feed I was able to get was the Tekzilla Daily on the 24th. Tried it on a couple of PC's and I think it is something that changed on the Site Update. Hope they fix it soon.
