Hi
Huge Ennis fan here, I just recently started reading his War Stories but I saw a book that went under my radar I wanted to know what you guys think. The book I am talking about is Barracuda Max, an off shoot of Punisher Max. So is this any good is it worth buying. I am a Ennis fan but I wouldnt say I am a completist so unless this is one of his "par to above par" works I will let it pass. So what do you think ?
I really like his Punisher MAX stories. I dropped Barracuda MAX because I was offended by it.

Offended !!!
So I take it Garth goes to a whole new level. You said you dropped it does that mean you would not recommend it ? or, Is it so offensive that it is sinfully good ?
I will say you have my intrest piqued
I definitely WOULD NOT recommend it.

Well unless I hear some glowing reviews I guess this is a pass.
Oh well, it was just that since Garth is leaving Punisher Max I figured I would soak up as much from that "universe" as possible.

it was meh.
it was more over the top than his usual stuff. kinda fun but i prefer his regular Punisher work.

My sentiments exactly. "Meh"
While I didn't find it offensive, (I'm not sure how you can find offense in this while enjoying other Ennis writing, unless it's a personal thing...) I did find it less engaging than some of the other stuff. I had assumed Barracuda was finished by the Punisher so when he comes back I thought he would have more of a purpose. I guess if his purpose is wreaking havoc and not giving a shit about anything, than it is fulfilled. I just couldn't get into it.
The best part, in my opinion, was the "Christopher Walken" cameo. He never says it's him, but there's no denying it.
