She's really a Canadian thing. She basically replaced Cat Schwartz after "Call for Help" moved to Canada. She has a fairly well received video podcast called "Command-n" and audio podcast with Leo Laporte called "Net at Night." She is also widely assumed to be a notch on Kevin Rose's bed post.

She's a very nice person by all accounts and probably doesn't deserve any scorn. That being said, I find it very unlikely that she'll work for Revision3 because she lives in "Toronto" and her family is in PEI.

He already has Sarah Lane on the payroll, and I think that is because they dated for a long time and are probably still really good friends. Amber seemed to be a less serious relationship, and I would guess that having Amber AND Sarah around him would not be too comfortable for Kevin. Who would be hired next? Lala and Posh Suicide?

It was implied that KRose dated Amber when he did a few guest spots on CFH up in Canada and also in the Diggnation from Canada (never outright confirmed, course nor was Lala or Posh either).

And Yes, Rev3 should do something with Amber, she's well respected in the podcast community and fun to listen to and well informed as well...

My sister heads the anaphylactic association of australia. She has ciliac disease and so does her son, and her daughter has both ciliac disease and anaphylaxis. She has to carry a shot with her where-ever she goes. You'd be surprised how many chefs in the world don't know what either of these conditioins involve. I saw my sister question the hell out of one about one item on the menu, and everything he says is "it's ok". My sis is about ready to 'ok' the item and realises it says 'lightly fried', so she asks what kind of oil, and he goes, "peanut oil, but once it's been heated it's alright". She rolled her eyes and walked away, I clenched my fists and walked towards him.

Such a horrible condition(s). I eat suffocatingly thick peanut butter sandwiches and gallons of whole milk, and well chocolate. . . I mean, well what meal and movie isn't capped off with some chocolate? My favorite kinds of chocolate - the varieties mixed with nut and or nut flavoring. I feel sorry for your wife's cousin and my sister and her kids. Especially the ciliac disease, that's a HUMONGOUS portion of food types they can't have.
