So I was downloading some new music last night (the latest Band of Horses record and The Whigs) and somehow, I remembered how much I loved Oasis' (What's the Story) Morning Glory? and figured that the copy I'd received when I was in sixth grade had long since gone missing and was likely destroyed. Upon listening to the cd, and not just classics like Wonderwall and Champagne Supernova, I remembered how much I loved the record for song's like Don't Look Back in Anger and She's Electric and Roll With It. I was wondering how many people have had similar experiences with CDs, movies or television shows that you had forgotten about, re-discovered and had an enhanced appreciation for after the fact.

Love Oasis. Its not on my frequent playlist, but its there.
I have a lot of 80's/90's Aussie pub rock that slips into my mix, and then I get onto Joe Camilleri or Wendy Matthews or Models or Flowers/Icehouse ... and keep relistening.

BTW - The best Oasis? The Oasis/Greenday Boulevard of Broken Songs mashup ... the whole is greater than the sum of the parts.
