is there a website where i can find out how many albums/much money a band has sold?

I'm actually interested in this as well. Most I do is check Billboard.com on a Wednesday where they do news stories on the latest releases, but I would like to know how artists do further down the line.

Well, there's a site called SoundScan, but it requires a hefty membership fee and is kind of an industry-only thing. http://www.soundscan.com/
