A few notes:

Faces of Death was not entirely fake. There was some real footage mixed in with the fake stuff (I know this from reading about it, never seen the movie).

The Wii is NOT just a gamecube with different controls. It does have more graphical power than the cube, but it just doesn't compete with the 360 or PS3 in that arena.

I had tickets to see the midnight screening of Borat at the Alamo Drafthouse here in Austin, TX but because of Fox rolling back the release the screening was cancelled. I'm pissed.

Halloween 3 did indeed suck, but 4 was a return to form and I'm seeing that tonight at the Drafthouse's Halloween Bash.

Can we please start a Gauntlet? I would love nothing more than to sit around with friends, watch horrible movies, and laugh at them. It'll be like MST3K, but with no space or robots, which I think will be downsides.

I called M$ about my 360 the night it broke... for no apparent reason. Then they walked me through the are you a retard and forget to plug everything in right thing. They then informed me that indeed my 360 is broken and I have to send it in for the small fee of 130 dollars. I told them that was crap since i have only had the system for 5 months. They then dropped it too 100, I continued to explain I am a broke college student and then continued to basicly *****. I am now getting it fixed for free except shipping.

While I am getting a decent deal now, this is still unacceptable. Microsoft knowingly messed up. Their systems break at an extremely high rate, and yet they refuse to do anything about this. Come on M$, I loved my 360 but now its broken for no reason, and right before Gears of War. I know other people are experiencing the same problem and something needs to still be done. J Allard, Peter Moore - my "Lucid Dream" is turning into a nightmare because I cannot play the biggest blockbuster of the year.

Holy crap that's a lot of broken consoles. You're not supposed to play face-frisbee with them you know. As for myself, I've only had a Gamecube die on me, which is weird because Nintendo is usually known for unbreakable products. Also when you consider how crappy a PS2 is put together, I'm amazed I never had that die on me. Although all my friends have been through a couple of them each. Will we ever learn our lesson? I don't know, we sure do love our PS2's.
