Saw the movie last night (no pun intended), **** all the haters! It had to be the best TCM since the original. The way they shot every scene made leatherface into one bad ass mo-fo. I really dont know how to explain the angles and lighting that they used btu it gave leatherface a whole new look that is far more intimidating than ever. Im not easy to please with horror movies but i gotta say i wet my undies at the fact they arent ruining such a favorite franchise of mine. Lets face it, the big wigs could have hired a bunch of morons to make the film and it could have ended up looking as lame as the saw movies.

10/10 ****in loved it, its not often that i care weather the charecters die or not, but i did here.

I liked the re-make. Not because it was a good movie, but because the theatre was like a ****ing party. It all started when someone in my theatre got kicked out 5 minutes into the film and started screaming as he left. Since then the whole theatre was really interactive with the film. Everyone was yelling shit at the screen and laughing and making fun of the movie. I made friends with almost everyone around me. Especially the guys next to us, my friends and I, because we snuck in and they offered to help us out if the manager tried to kick us out. It was awesome, and probably one of the best movie memories I've ever had.

I haven't seen the movie, but it seems to have the same old cliche camera style where the camera man shakes the camera and movies it around violently when its supposed to represent a lot of action happening. I f u cking hate that.

Zim, leatherface was ALWAYS a badass mofo and we didn't need a bajillion other films to tell us that. Texas Chainsaw Massacre is one of the few Horror Classics America had going for it and now they're ruining that franchise too. If you guys like to be treated like babies in a film in a bad way (not on the getting to suck on a breast, not having to work and have any responsibilities, etc...i mean being undermined intellectually and tastefully), then yeah sure watch this movie.

Otherwise, this movie is as worth watching as The Hills Have Eyes or any other CG filled "horror" shitcase that jumps at me instead of giving me disturbing images, or some crap that just jumps on the "torture" bandwagon cause american horror's got nothing better to do. SAVE US ROB ZOMBIE!!!

happy halloween! what an apporpriate thread.

The best part about seeing this movie is that I was sitting in between my brother and Jimmy Wayne Yang and we were losing our shit laughing the whole time.

I love Zim. Are you SURE you're not Seumas in disguise? I loved that guy too. Crazy ass opinions and all.

The movie felt like hemorrhoids it was uncomfortable to sit through. Enough with the sequels and copy cat movies. The original was good but it ended there.
