Damnit.

Just when I thought Sarah was going to be able to silence all of the detractors.

Oh well. I'm not going to be looking for it anymore.

...I urge you to watch Internet Superstar, a brand-new show on Revision3! Starring my buddy Martin and my arch-rival Gator, Internet Superstar is just about as much fun anyone should be having in a shed. Enjoy!

I've already watched it, thinking I'd have the Gazette to look forward to this evening :(

Thanks for the heads up. Just FYI, I've stopped expecting them, that way when one does come out I'll be excited, instead of being disappointed if one doesn't come.

Sarah, Sarah, Sarah... we want to see your smiling face again. I say you visit Martin during the show next week and borrow that Darth Vader head "cuz you need it for the UPCOMING EPISODE OF TR3G"

Call me crazy, but if a show isn't going to be released at a scheduled time, than said show should be taken off of the SCHEDULE page... Just a thought.

I strongly second that.

I'm okay that the Gazette doesn't come out every week, but when I see it on the schedule page then it makes me look forward to it. I’m then disappointed and frustrated when it doesn't come out. If the Gazette weren’t on the schedule page then I’d know it wasn’t going to come out and I would be okay with that. Something to think about.

The only problem is that it IS going to be released at a scheduled time, with a few exceptions here and there. There is no reason for them to update the schedule weekly.

Re-read the part of your first sentence after the comma...

That is not a scheduled time than.

Definition of schedule: a procedural plan that indicates the time and sequence of each operation.
Definition of scheduled: to appoint, assign, or designate for a fixed time.

If the schedule on their site says Wednesdays at 7pm eastern, there will be a release, and there isn't, then it isn't adhering to said schedule...

Don't get me wrong, I love rev3 and all their other shows; I have plenty to watch, I'm just a stickler for little things like that. Guess its my ADD...

Let me ask you all this, did anyone watch last weeks episode?

Well, if you did, you would have heard Sarah say, "We'll see you uh... I don't want to say next week, but we'll see you soon."

I just don't see why so many people complain. It's not like Fox, NBC, etc. give you any kind of personalized service. No, you have to sit down and wait and wonder, and then right before the show should come on they say "XXXXX won't be seen this evening, instead here's some more American Idol crap." Of course, that's if they tell you at all.

It shouldn't be too hard to fire up a web browser and check the site. Come on, you all have enough time to sit on the boards and complain. Let's be reasonable people. This content is free and it's way better than anything you would see on television.

---

Keep up the great work Revision3!

I would agree with you, except it is on a schedule. Under your rule, 1 missed episode out of say 100 means it isn't on a schedule. I should also point out that your definitions only define a plan or appointed time and have no barring on whether or not that plan is met or not.

Anyways, as far as the R3G goes, it's planned to be released on Wed. i.e. that is it's scheduled time in the week to be released. And if something comes up, it won't come out. Now, I'm not saying they have reasons to miss every other week or something frequently, but at the same time the R3G was never promised on a schedule, Rev3's stance has always been a "if we can get one out, we will."

Also, "emptyset" (I think this is a forum screw up or something with your name) Yes, you are absolutely correct. It isn't very hard to check out the site. However, Rev3 has been known to push back releases hours to days without notifying anyone, and we have been told that they will post in the forums if an episode isn't coming. Which oddly enough didn't happen the following week when no episode came, but now they are doing that. The simple idea is that they are going to have to handle their product more like business. Rev3 is more than just a group of friends. They are not the standard blogger, they are a business. And I, for one, expect them to act accordingly.

For those who do not want to read the entire excerpt, here it is the key part:

"Revision3 may change, suspend or discontinue the Services including any Content for any reason, at any time, including the availability of any feature or content. "

The point is, they can do whatever they want. Now, if you were in a contractual agreement where it specifically stated that they would provide service to whatever degree of terms, then yes, complain all you want. However, since they provide content for FREE, everyone should be a little more respectful.

To me, it sounds like people are being handed free cake and they're complaining about the icing... come on...

Not to get into it with you, but Rev3 shows are not free. They are as free as any abc/nbc/local channel show is. They have ads. Rev3 is a business. I'm not saying everyone complaining has a point or should be heard, I'm just saying as a business they can't simply disregard any negative opinion and expect to do well. That said, I don't think Rev3 is doing that at all, but you make it sound like that is what you want them to do.
