I remember seeing a free program a long time ago that would allow me to extend my desktop using 2 computers/Monitor and my existing home network.

I have a notebook computer sitting right in front of my desktop computer/monitor and it would be handy to be able to drag applications to my desktop computers screen out of the way from my notebook without having to disconnect my monitor from my desktop computer.

Anyone know or remember the name of the program?

Hi JRBLAZE,

Hope that helps, please send blank cheques to ..... he he..

Enjoy.

p.s. It's not free though, but you can get a trial/demo.

That looks like the program I was looking for. Thanks for the help.

I think an older version of the program was offered completely free and fully functional.

If anyone knows of a legit place to find that version let me know. For now I will use the trial/demo version.

Thanks Again.

BTW... The Blank Check is in the mail.... ;-)

Why not just use shared folders instead?

Another option is to run VNC, keeping the desktop "headless" (ie doesn't stop isf no keyboard/mouse or monitor is plugged in.

I'm not trying to access another computer remotely or even files remotely I want to do what MaxiVista does (extend my existing desktop for more workspace using my existing desktop and notebook setup at my desk)
