Whats used to create intro's?

I was wondering what program is used to create the intro's to the shows like diggnation, pixel perfect, ect... They all look similar in a few ways so I assume that the same program is used. Anyone know what it is?

Well, the guy who created the diggnation intro mainly used Cinema 4D, Motion, and After Effects.

I would assume some of these programs were used for other intros as well.

Thanks... I really like the effects they have. I will have to check out those programs..
