Just finished watching this...had some really good tech segments this time around. Show was longer than usual, and felt longer too. Seems as if they've been listening to people complaining about the theme song being played too much during the show...they've done away with a lot of it. Not too much echo in the studio, which is a good thing. Also, I liked how they explained about journalistic integrity with sponsors.
Also, they're looking for a female co host? Even with all of the women that work at Rev3? I wonder why?

Did Jessica Corbin leave? I only watched cause my man K Rose was on, it was a good episode. But what did happen to Jessica? Left Rev3 or just TekZilla?
EDIT: Just noticed the other thread about new Co-Host.

Great episode as usual. Good to see Kevin Rose on a Screen Saver-esque show.
Felt a tad too long though.
Looking forward to next week.

She is doing The Digg Reel and another show that hasn't aired yet.

Loved this episode. Felt a bit sentimental with Kevin and Pat working together on this type of show. And it could never be too long as far as I am concerned.

I purchased the Invisible Shield by Zagg after seeing it in a revision3 podcast a few weeks ago for my Casio Exilim EX-Z1080 on Jan 9, 2008 at half price: $5.98. I didn't receive it until Jan 22.
I noticed immediately it was labeled for my cam, but was only 1.6" diagonal. I have a 2.8" screen. Called 'em, waited 15 min on hold, the woman answering doesn't even know how to pronounce Casio. Calls it a COZ-EE-oh every time.
She said she'd send a Priority Mail envelope to return the incorrect screen protector and include the correct one. Three days later I received the SAME ONE.
Called back, spent 30 min this time on the phone with the SAME woman. She had to verify that my cam truly had that large a screen so I had to give links to the casio site. I noted that most likely ALL their inventory is incorrect for this make/model of camera and possibly other devices as well.
She said she'd send another shield cut that day by their engineers. Guess what? They called me back 2 hours later and left a voicemail asking for me to measure my OWN CAMERA SCREEN and call them with the dimensions.
Apparently, they do not know that cam's dimensions even though they list it on their site. I took specific measurements & called them right back since I didn't answer the unknown caller ID. They stop answering the phone at 5pm, but of course it's only 4pm. Well, it says nobody is there to answer and to leave a voicemail instead!
I then emailed the "President" listed on their site with pictures of my screen, ruler, and their TWO INCORRECT shields. I'm still waiting on the supposed CORRECT screen which hopefully arrived today.
I recommend the screens, but as far as service goes they are completely CLUELESS. Don't order from them expecting to get it the following week if you need it for a trip like I did 17 days later.

I just got my iPhone and one of the first things I noticed was the lack of picture messaging which is whacky imho. Hmm.
I almost immediately started wondering if I should have went for a different phone, but nothing is nearly as sexy or as great for the web, mp3s, simple gmail use and mp3 playback / simple syncing and simple way to work with my collection of music in iTunes and my podcast subs...
So, I'm all for the iPhone even if it lacks some things that you'd expect in just about any other phone these days...

First off I am going to look into the shields for my new cell and Sansa. I use the Sansa at work mainly and that would sure help.
As to Kevin being scared of the RF (Radio Frequency (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electromagnetic_spectrum)) from that antenna. Don't worry. The 800Mhz to 2.4Ghz that is used by cell phones and your 802.11x card are not going to do the damage that everyone thinks. Think of this......all of the cell towers, TV transmissions, broadcast radio, & radar (police & aircraft) that you pass by/through everyday. Every piece of electronic equipment emits RF at various wave lengths. What about cordless home phones!
You will get cancer from the sun before a cell phone.
I know there are some professionals in this field that could give you a better explanation. I'm only and amateur.

This has been the best Tekzilla yet.
Not down to the change of hosts in particular but due to the content. This is more of what I was expecting when Patrick went to Rev3 and he delivered. It wasn't too long at all and I think the show has turned the corner.
Hopefully future episodes will continue the trend.
Shows always flow better and are more appealing when you think the hosts are enjoying it and are interested in the content, and Kevin and Patrick just jamming about stuff worked well.
