This must be a Halloween prank, because it's just too good to be true...

On this topic, your favorite crossovers? This can be comics, movies, TV, whatever! Gotta be Freddy vs. Jason for me. Everything that's glorious about those movies distilled into one.

Alien Vs. Predator... the games, not the movie.

Most crossovers have been a bit of a disappointment for me. Although this Ash vs. Marvel Zombies thing could be very cool.
If I had to pick one I do like, for nostalgia sake alone I really loved that X-Men/Teen Titans one shot from like 1982.

It might be the beers talking, but I really liked the big Marvel DC x-over that happened in the late 90's...

The Amalgam Universe? Yeah. It's the beers. I don't think anyone else misses crap like "Tales of the Dark Claw" or whatever the hell it was called.

Silly me... you are right... though Lobo still rocks no matter what universe!

Even when he is amalgamated with Howard the Duck?

magneto and his metal men or whatever it was called was like my favorite book! My batman amalgam book was eaten by my dog, it was a sad day.

I agree with X-Men and Teen Titans, it was well done. Walt Simonson did the artwork and the storyline actually made sense.

I liked the DC vs Marvel that came out right before it.

Yo, I'm with you, man. I was just getting into comics around then, and that sh** felt EPIC back in the day!
Where the hell's my Spider-Boy mini series?! Of course, by now he'd be half zombie...

Bambi meets Godzilla, the one that started it all.
Freddy vs. Jason
Alex Albrecht on Geekdrome
A Dalek in Looney Tunes Back in Action

God the Marvel Vs DC one was so ****ing bad.
Lobo get his ass kicked by Wolverine? Yeah right, it's only because Wolvie is way more popular.
Lobo killed his ****ing planet. Wolvie is tough, and I like him a lot better than of the two, but there's no way he could beat Lobo.

Wow, hearing someone make that argument brings me back to '96 in a big way.
Well, in that nostalgic vein: Yeah, that fight was lame (especially since ol' Jimmy was missing his adamantium at the time), but the comic was still a fanboy's sticky wet dream. Superman vs. Hulk? Silver Surfer vs. Green Lantern? I don't care who you are, that's badassery at it's finest.
In addition, thoughts on JLA/Avengers? I had a good time with it, myself. Y'know, not biblically or anything...
Marvel Zombies and Army of Darkness should naturally click well since the zombified superheroes versus one man chainsaw, shotgun wielding anti-hero formula hasn’t failed so far. XD
So far I've been happy with what Dynamite's been doing with AOD versus Re-Animator and Darkman series and Marvel Zombies was a very entertaining read.
(The reactions out of Zombie Spidey whining over with guilt over eating MJ and Aunt May were absolutely priceless.)
Both are very solid series and this definitely a sure thing to be jazzed about in 07 comic wise.

I've always wondered how that X-Men/Star Trek-TOS crossover turned out.

I never heard of that one, and yes, that's ridiculous, especially given the issue of Lobo goes to hell.

I actually have that and it wasn't too bad. I liked how it integrated an actual episode of Classic Trek into the story. Here's a good Trek wiki page about it: http://www.memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/Star_Trek_-_X-Men
